6 chapters have already gone out of this condensed book. Looks pretty good so far.
I usually try to pick solid coop games to play with my wife like Resident Evil 5, Borderlands, heck even MW2 spec ops. If she gets into a game she actually gets more hooked than I do. It is a great way to spend time with her and just relax. Love playing video games with her.
This glitch is easy to do and people have already made videos how to create these crazy games. 18 person 3rd person tactical matches lead to ridiculous amounts of kills which boost peoples levels very quickly.
Right now there is a rumor going that on the PS3 you can still Javelin glitch,
360 you can create these crazy matches.
3rd person is fun and is a good change of pace from just FPS over and over. You should give it a try, its like SOCOm but better.
Third person is messed up, you can play 18 people on small maps. Craziness.
Unfortunately a lot of people sold their old consoles thinking that backward comp would be included as a matter of fact. Live and learn. But I guess you can go out and by a PS2 on the cheap as well but that would just be giving Sony more money.
I have the first gen PS3 with backwards comp and I used it for GTA and God of War. It isn't a huge thing but it is a nice to have. My friend has a slim and she was interested in getting Parappa the Rapa and has to DL it.
The FF games will take over. I think anything with an FF title on it sells like hot cakes instantly.
I like how the new Splinter Cell has the words right in the game, it is definitely a unique ooncept but will it be enough to put it over the top?
Duke Nukem takes the cake for longest ever game to never come out. Blizzard comes close with Ghost as well.
Yahtzee is a tool. I think Braid was overhyped. Braid is a fun game but it isnt something you come back to and play over and over. It was innovative and interesting but not such of a blockbuster as everyone made it out to be.
Wow! I used to play them back on the NES. THe peak was No Mercy on the 64. This last Smackdown was fairly close.
Street Fighter with Van Damme was terrible. Can't believe they tried to remake it using Chun Li
I am a big fan of tower defense games for some reason. Although some are very terrible to play, but this one sounds pretty fun. May have to give it a try.
i think the last RPG to grip me totlaly was FFVII or on the DS The World Ends With You.
Nothing beats opening up a brand new game for the first time. It's like a mini Christmas each time.
I still remember in the launch days of the 360, all that was available were PFS games. Seemed like that was what the patform was destined to be alone.
Great article. I found it interesting that MW2 decided to incorporate the 3rd person tactical view as well. Perhaps they knew that people would already be used to the same COD agian and wanted to provide something different.
Some parents really have no idea what to get and rely heavily on the associates at the stores which sometimes I hear them take them totally a stray.
