Black Friday seemed pretty low key this year. i looked throught he specials and was unimpressed.
Lego Rock Band is fun and probably the best feature that will help a lot of drummers is the auto kick option. That will allow for a lot more drummers.
most people are getting this for their PS3 and treating it like a track pack and ripping it and then trading the game in.
Very cool to see that the peripheral is coming out as a standalone but I wonder if this wil be trumped by the traded in units.
All I can say is wow
Lol at "I'm not a fan boy but" famous last words.
I tire of the fanboys. Going to be fun to see what they say in response to this article.
Good article. The fanboy epidemic is getting ridiculous an as you said it is gettting to the point where people don't want to say anything.
PS3 gets a lot more use form me now, especially since now there are more people to play with online.
Surround sound in games really adds to the experience especially in shooters like MW2 or thriller games like Condemned.
Bayonetta first rreminded me of a female version of Devil May Cry but it sounds pretty good.
These passages have been great to read and I think the book will come out great if these first few chapters are any indication. If your a gamer you should give it a read.
I use my PSP and DS while on planes mostly. Other than that they collect dust.
Can't argue with that.
IMO Black Friday can go one of two ways, a giant success as people will be looking for the greatest deals or a total flop since the economy is hurting and only the necesities will be bought. Great list though.
Borderlands is a lot of fun. The RPG portion is a bit overhyped as it is more of a shooter than an RPG, but still a nice mix. Also the coop is great for splitscreen fun.
Dragon Age is a fun hack and slash in the same vain as Oblivion. DLC is always good to expand your experience further.
MS points cost the company next to nothing, they are virtual. Laptops are very eeasy for them to give out since the company would give them to MS for free in order to get their name out. Ads any way you slice them make them money on top of subs and dont help the user at all. I find it intersting how users accept ads, if you saw ads in HBO or Netflix people would lose their minds!
But thats the thing, they will never make XBL free, they are jamming commercials down your throat so they can make more money. This started a few years back with in game ads and we have not seen a reduction in game prices one bit. This will be no different.
Interesting story, good to hear how games impact everyone differently.
