Lmao ah ok. How long has MS had that same power and money to make Sony "disappear"? They have been in the game business now for what like 20 yrs now, and they ALWAYS finish last. Lol Sony are a smaller company, but they are FAR better at making games. Call me when they have blockbusters like the last of us, God of war, spiderman, uncharted etc. The only way they can try to compete is to buy up publushers like abk. It's really sad.

That doeesnt mean it's sustainable. Far more people have to sub to gamepass especially with the aquistions of Bethesda and ABK. It's not sustainable. They will raise the price to help but unless they get 10s of millions more subs it's going to fail.
Wait till the ABK aquisition gos through, they will raise the price of gamepass shortly after.

Until I see what Spiderman 2 looks like, this is my game of the yr. It looks incredible. Im going to be sinking alot of time into it. :-)

Not even close to the number of consoles Spiderman 2 will shift though. They couldn't have picked a worse time to delay starfield to. Spiderman 2s sales will dwarf starfields.
Spiderman 2 will be a serious contender for game of the yr. Just because there has been some recent ports of yrs old games to PC, doesn't mean there will be any kind of spider man fatigue. I guarantee you it will be easily the best selling game this holiday season. It will shift millions of ps5s as well. I am very excited for it, but FF16 is looking like my game of the yr in 2023. My mind might change once venom makes his appearance though. :-)

Sonys studios certainly have the ability to make a better game than COD, but they will never have the popularity of COD. Everyone has tried to make a COD killer, and Noone has succeeded. Do you think sony has the time, money and resources to invest into a game like COD. actvision had 3000 devs working on the new game on it for 3yrs. They have 3 different studios that alternate yrs, it's just a MASSIVE game. The closest that anyone has really come is battlefield and that game is dwarfe...

@porkchop, yes Sony could afford take 2, If take 2 wanted to be bought. Sony has 10 billion still set aside for aquisitions from last yr. They would likey have to put in another 12+ billion to get it done, but its doable. They are making massive profit right now. BtW cod is worth more then gta, so yes they can be bought. How about you place blame where it actually belongs, xbox owners. Crisis core reunion released on nintendo and xbox alongside playstation. Sony sold a whopping 82%, Nintendo 12% and xbox with a pathetic 6%. why in the world would square even bother wasting time, money and resources if xbox owners aren't going to buy it? All the xbots ever do anymore is beg and grovel for every game to get added to gamepass.

@viva it has been confirmed multiple times by Insomiac that it will release in 2023. It's not getting pushed back. It will be the biggest game of the holiday season easily. As impressive as ragnarok sales numbers were this past yr, spiderman 2 is going to eclipse it.
