Well maybe it's not sustainable for some developers but if you consistently release masterpieces like naughty dog, Santa Monica studios, and insomniac it is. Even with that budget t.l.o.u. 2 t still made sony a shit ton of money.

Yah no doubt a huge list, but some of these would be VERY unlikely aquisitions like fromsoftware, sega, and remedy for example. I actually think fromsoftware will end up with Sony eventually. Also think sony will aquire remedy, I doubt remedy wants to crawl back into bed with MS.

Eh, maybe just not my kind of game but its looks boring to me. Its good that xbox finally has some good looking games coming out, but I trust sony studios WAY more than xbox. Xbox won the summer games showcases by default because Sony didn't even show up. Xbox,even though they was next to zero gameplay outside of starfield, really showed a nice sizzle real. Hoping sony will stop sitting on their hands and will do the same this fall
That's because xbox gamers won't buy the damn games. You think for a second xbox gamers are going to buy games like persona 3 remake and persons 5t? They take the money from MS for gamepass because they would verly likely lose money just porting and not releasing on gamepass.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I can't see how anyone can rate FF16 below a 8 personally. The graphics are insane, tons of action, great plot, superbly voice acted and it is possibly the greatest soundtrack I have ever heard in a game. It is easily my favorite game of the yr so far.
