Lmao you are completely delusional if you think there is any way in hell that ever happens.
1st of all nintendo wouldn't sell.
2nd it wouldn't pass ANY regulators
3rd if it ever did you would see the biggest exodus of employees thats ever left a gaming company.
Lol whos gonna make Mario and zelda, xbox studios. Damn good luck with that. Would literally be the death of nintendo, and everyone knows it.
Ryan didn't get the boot he is retiring. I'm not the biggest fan of his, but he was definitely a corporate guy and guided PS to very high profits.
Nah not happening. Very unlikely MS will be able to aquire any Japanese publisher. It's not for lack of money, more to do with culture.
@obscure. Eh bethesda aren't my kind of rpg games. They are unpolished and janky in alot of ways. If I want to buy an rpg there is always CDPR, larian, guerilla, etc. Sony might set a new standard if Santa Monica studios releases the rumored rpg they are working on. Plus jrpgs like persona, Final fintasy which I actually prefer. Hopefully the next mass effect isn't like andromeda as well.
Lmao the power of the cloud. Crack down 4 incoming.
Lol, like anyone gives a crap. You are talking about an over 2 yr old ps5 game. It's a great game, I got the platinum the weekend of its release. Who cares if it does or doesn't run slightly faster in pc? Let's put a tired ass article out on a 2 yr game, when insomniac is launching Spiderman 2 in a little over a month. Then in 2 yrs we can have another lame ass article on how Spiderman 2 runs faster on PC.
Absolutely zero chance any major regulator would approve MS buying nintendo. Not going to happen. Also if they were to buy them, nearly everyone would resign. They would get all the ips, but who would make the games. Would be a tragedy to see MS destroy nintendos legacy though.
Yah rhey already laughed in MS face before when they tried to buy them. Pipe dream, never going to happen.
Lmao now I know you are trolling. No way in hell will they have the best exclusives. Again sony has that locked down. Xbox will likely have more exclusives due to their massive shopping spree, but their 1st party studios are trash compared to both sonys and nintendos. They have no studios that can compete with Santa Monica, naughty dog, insomniac, guerilla and sucker punch.
They aren't going to dominate anything. Now that they have a steady release pipeline, they might improve their numbers. It will only marginally improve their numbers though. Sony will continue to dominate. Nintendo will continue to be number 2, until they release their replacement for the switch. This gen has already been won by playstation. They are selling at 2-1 ratio over xbox, without a whole lot of 1st party releases. Spiderman 2 is going to do HUGE numbers both for console ...
This is exactly why square hasn't released many games on xbox. Because people beg for it to be gamepass. Highly doubt it will even ever make it to xbox period. Xbox users aren't going to buy it even of it did miraculously show up on their platform. If square was unhappy with the 3 million sold at launch for FF16, they will really be unhappy with how putrid FF7R would sell on xbox.
I couldnt care less about nintendo games personally. Was it ps's best show, no but had some great stuff in there. RE 4 vr, and helldivers looked great. Foam stars looks pretty fun. Another look at Spiderman 2, which is shaping up to be a serious contender for game of the yr. Then we have FF7 rebirth, which looked fricking phenomenal. Square looks like it's knocking this one out if the park. Going to be a long wait until feb. I would have liked to see some games they are sittin...
@otocon the link which you supplied, which didn't even give starfields numbers, actually said that it was behind hogwarts, FF16, star wars and a couple others listed. So where is the proof, if the link you provided actually stated the exact opposite of what you claimed.
You got number to back up your baseless claim? Show me where starfield has sold over 3 million copies in a few days. Also no way in hell it is a bigger launch than hogwarts legacy.
Day 1 gamepass does cannibalize sales, MS stated as much in court. MS hasnt released sales numbers in yrs, and that probably won't change anytime soon. Starfield has been hyped as the biggest xbox game of all time. even with all its marketing it won't even come close to Spiderman 2s sales numbers when it releases in October. Until MS comes out and gives actual sales numbers instead of simply thr number of people who have played it, we will never know how many copies it has sold.
On the fence whether I should buy it i m not a fan of these kind of games, but almost just want to support larian because they clearly have crafted a fine looking game.
There is a rumor that Sony is having an Asian based studio focused state of play this month and kingdom hearts 4 is going to be there with a 2nd trailer. Not sure if it's legit but saw it was posted on the snitch's discord by someone named hero. Supposedly bloodborne remastered will be on it as well with a release date sometime in 2025. Along with some other S.I.E news. Wasnt posted by the snitch himself, so I'd take it with a grain of salt though. It appears this leaker has g...
This price hike looks atrocious, I won't lie. Just spit balling here, but what would you all think if they were to announce that all upcoming 1st party Gaas games are included with extra and premium? I think that would make ps plus #s spike. Maybe that is why we haven't heard anything about helldivers 2 release date? Just a theory.
Oh give me a damn break. Yout do know it goes both way right? Ever heard if a little game called the last of us 2? Thousands of bots review bombed the game, and it was very evident they had never played the game. Just regurgitating the same damn talking points. Last of us 2 overcame it and went on to be the most highly awarded game of all time (until it was recently surpassed by elden ring) . That's certainly not the only instance of bots review bombing ps exclusives either.
With totoki at the helm it should help playstation aquire some Japanese studios/publishers.
