FF 16 still has my vote for game of the yr though. I'm currently playing though Alan Wake 2 and it is also great. Going to be hard to beat FF16 for me. EPIC boss fights, great story, insane graphics, fantastic voice acting, and possibly the greatest musical score ever in a game.
Lmao yah ok. FF 16 is still my game of the yr. Spiderman 2 is great, but FF16 is still better. Alan wake 2(which i haven't purchased yet), is the only game left this yr, that has a chance to unseat it for me. Wish I could get into a game like baldurs gate 3, but its just not my style of game.
Switch isn't powerful enough to handle FF16, and it would have sold like hot garbage on xbox. It would have made no difference putting it on xbox. Would have been a 90/10 sales split between sony and xbox. Now if they released it simultaneously on PC, that probably would have made a difference. Still only has a 6 month exclusivity for ps5, so pc port will be right around the corner.

Eh to each their own, no way in hell am i going to play the same game for yrs. I'll spend a few months at the very most on a single game. just never saw the point of playing the same game for yrs on end. Sounds like it will have long legs for sure, but I'd much rather have a polished game front to back.
I'd day high 80s minimum. Probably low 90s. Right now they are easily the hottest studio in gaming.
Wasn't snubbed, not g.o.t.y. material. Certainly had the hype, but didn't deliver on it.
