That is extremely rude of you. Have some decency.
There are no official numbers, but from what you can gather around the web, it's somewhere around 10 million, +- 4 or so.
The sales are better than before, but not too shabby nevertheless. Perhaps it's time for it to take off after E3, that is after the announcement of a price drop, a new version, and some must-have exclusives.
If that doesn't happen by TGS this year, then I'm ready to give up. I'll just use it as my classics player on th...
I dunno guys, Vita is selling quite well. It's a stubborn machine and won't go down without a fight.
We can always sell our ass in Roppongi or Sanlitun!
Japanese people don't have enough time to stay at home and play games. Simple as that. The ones that do, are most likely too young to buy one.
This has nothing to do with interest, but everything to do with demographic.
The guy is in the all time hall of fame. He has been chosen one of the most influential persons in the world. And what did he give us? Tons of smile, happiness and fun!!
So let the man be upset from time to time. He is human, just like you and me.
Besides, if the writer knew Japanese culture at all, he would understand that Miyamoto-sama is actually a very typical old-school ojii-san.
I'd love to see Nintendo back in home console market with a bang by announcing a 4K (native in-game) capable console. They could easily devise such a machine if they release early 2017 when cards like Titan X are midware.
They should also put all the WiiU teams working on it once they have finished their current projects. Just cut the rotting Wii U off, before it the whole company will be infected.
They should make this new home console backwards compati...
LOL LOL OMG IT'S SO FUNNY! HAHAHA LOOOOOOOLLLL !!!!11234
I have faith in Bloodborne.
Praise the blood!
Waiting for Skylake. Thinking of accompanying it with Titan X maybe. It just isn't enough for 4K, though. Needs another Titan X to do high quality 4K @ 30-60fps.
Also, not into LCD tech, I'm more of a plasma/dlp projector guy, so once the reasonably priced OLED 4K TVs hit the market, I might go for one of those.
So I'll be waiting for another year or two until I do my 4K set. Meanwhile, my PS4 and a little bit better specced PC should do. Consoles...
You know what. Normally, I would never say this but, I just have to be honest:
PS3 vs PC is the generation leap I wanted to see.
I've been kidding myself... This gen is truly underpowered.
I love the style. It's old-school rad! :D
None whatsoever! And that's the point! Oh, and to die while trying. Many times. Maaaany many times!
Good! I'm always overwhelmed by the amount of weapons and armor in Souls games. Demon's Souls had it good, from then on it became a bit convoluted. Maybe Bloodborne is the golden mean.
I wonder why Japanese PSN doesn't even have the game, if the release is in four days...
I was a mixed bag with both of the games, but I think Dark Souls eventually brought up the shield tank in me. Demon's had always some sort of a "cool" vibe to it, and thus I was always going for 2H and rolling, or heavy bow focus or something hunter-like.
I do enjoy the slow-paced shield combat of Dark Souls 1 and 2, too. Considering this is more like Demon's Souls, maybe the balance between the combat is slightly less towards shield now, but more about choo...
I hate to say I was right all along. From the development perspective it was almost impossible to create a game of that caliber in that given short time (by 2015).
Take your sweet time. We can always play TLOU just one more time :)
(Off topic: I think the only games I will buy for PS4 are the exclusives. PC can handle the rest. Then again, I seldom buy multiplats.
It's just a bit baffling to buy PC for multiplats, PS4, Wii U and Xbox One for exclusives and then some gear and games. Then you need a big tv or projector, and good speakers/ headphones. Gahhhhh... I hate this hobby!)
On Topic: I wonder if DICE's engine is just sort of ported to PS4 and Xbox One instead of done ground...
I wish they would go back to FFIX style again. Then maybe throw some FFXII in the mix, but the actual battles should all be in separate screens and turn-based, like in the old days.
Hope they make FFXVI also a bit more simplistic, but deep in gameplay. I'd love to have old-school leveling, grinding for money to buy new weapons and armor, then upgrade it with some materials etc. to find new types of weapons via some synthetization or black smithing. A job-system with upgra...
Looooooseeeer!!
:P
