The best part is that this is after 6 months using CE3.
Yeah in war you have specialist snipers, but don't let that stand in the way of the hate train.
We've been through this before. He asked for 1920x1080, GT5 is 1280x1080 or something like that.
Those ideas for Guerrilla sound really good actually, the respawning enemies were really anoying and they would solve that issue.
Armageddon is completely different to Guerrilla though, not even the same type of game. I definetly think it is a more refined and more enjoyable experience that Guerrilla was.
I would recommend that you re-read your reviews a few times before you post them. Several sentences don't make much sense, especially in the gameplay paragraph. Most of the time it's small things like writing they instead of the or you instead of your but other times the ordering or choice of words makes it hard to understand.
Otherwise good review with plenty of detail, much better than most N4G user reviews. I'm looking forward to picking this up once I get some...
How is that grammar? And I do know the difference btw.
I disagree. I personally buy in the order of 20-30 full retail games yearly plus a bunch of PSN games or indie games from Steam and Call of Duty is always in my top 5 favorite games each year and is usually the game I spend the most time on.
Every year I reckon there are a few games that get a meta score in the 70's that desever much better. 2009 was Saboteur, last year was Medal of Honor and this year is Red Faction.
I just finished it on PC and it is a brilliant game. It has the coolest Sci-Fi weapons I've encountered in a long time, incredible destruction, good gameplay variety, a fairly interesting story, good voice work and good graphics. I simply don't undertand how this can score a 73 on meta w...
I tried to like Far Cry 2 because I loved the first game. I still don't know why they called it Far Cry 2, it shares no similarities other than genre with the Crytek original. Still, it was alright except that it completely broke on me after about 6 hours and I would have had to start again if I wanted to keep playing.
I still have the game somewhere so I may go back to it at some point, but for now I have enough better games to play.
I wouldnt have said region free is the most important thing, or the first thing that would come to my mind.
I would say in this day and age, having a touchscreen, powerful graphics, dual anologue sticks, good screen resolution/contrast and battery life are all more important to me than whether or not it is region locked.
@ Pintheshadows - There isnt a lot of difference in crouching behind cover to heal or walking over some big green tablets that heal bullet wounds etc in the magic stakes. Not to say it doesn't change the way you have to play, just saying they are each equally ridiculous.
He'd eat them
Its sad how stale Nintendo's games are. How long are they going to go on making Mario and Zelda for each new system, its always the same old sh*te from Nintendo.
Not saying the others are much better, but they definetly aren't as bad.
Why? So you are always 2 or 3 generations behind?
Do they not realise that kids and even people with small hands are not going to be able to use the touchscreen properly?
We really do get ripped off dont we.
Just so you know, our currency contains 5,10,20,50 and 100 dollar notes and 5,10,20,50 cent coins plus 1 and 2 dollar coins.
Unfortunately nickel and dimmed doesn't make sense over here, but I read you.
PS3 is still $500 retail price over here, so $338 actually surprised me by being so low.
You want to go down the incoherent footage filled with a bunch of expliosions path? You just lost that war.
Also, @ your comment below - BF2142 was a PC specific game and got next to no support in way of content and bug fixes, so how do you explain that?
Edit 2: There are at least 4 explosions by my count in 23 or so seconds of gameplay. Thats one every 6 seconds. MW3 is in the middle of a world war, would you not expect there to be a sh*t load of explosions?...
The destruction was hidden behind far too much dust and smoke to get any idea how good it actually was. The MP trailer they showed during the EA E3 conference was a waste of time and only showed 1 or 2 second cut aways of gameplay. The sad part was they introduced the trailer as showing 'you guys' what BF3's multiplayer is all about. I couldn't see what the hell was going on, I have no idea what the object of the game was, and indeed the focus seemed to be on killing people on...
They didnt give it 0, they gave it an F. Meta converted that to a 0
