I always play as a female if I have the choice, I have 2 reasons for this;
1. There are already so many games with a male protagonist
2. When I create a male character I usually try to create him like me and when it turns out he's nothing like me I lose touch with the character.
The Sims is escapism at its finest. That's why I and so many others enjoy that game.
is that ps3 figure accurate? It's saying 41.7 for the 360 here, that would make only a 3m difference meaning the gap is still narrowing.

6 months ago would have disagreed with this but now I see what he's on about. Trophies ruined Bioshock 2 for me. On my first play through I felt the need to play it through on hard without using a vita chamber. I died at this certain point only to realise my last save was at least 30mins ago. Needless to say I switched the game off and havn't played since. I should probably buy it on steam.

Man I hated Resistance2, still haven't completed it. Do something that isn't a shooter insomniac.
I think it looks like more than there is because of the old big boxes.
I actually think that microsoft will end up adding a device with button feedback to be used with kinect not dissimilar to move. When they see the games move will be doing they will want to be a part of them and not lose out. The 360 controller as it is wont do because it isn't practical enough to be used with kinect and remain immersive. All hell would break loose if they did but see if microsoft care.
Excellent video that was very informative. I'm starting to like HHG a lot more and he obviously has genuine passion for what he does. People should cut him some slack.
People defending kinect over move can't seriously be interested in games. Move can have some amazing RPGs but kinect won't be able to do this to the same high standard. A star wars game with move would be unbelievable. MGS Rising with move would also be amazing.

they will probably still price it at $149 in the US though. I think it's borderline too pricey for casuals but microsoft appear to be putting a lot into kinect. I can still see it selling well in the US, not so much Europe and Japan.
then why are people implying that the reason it isn't great is because it is in beta. That sounds a lot like an excuse to me. I think we can both agree that beta is just a buzzword in these terms. It doesn't matter whether it's in or out it's still underwhelming. I assume this is directed at me when you said it's not an excuse. I still think there is a market for home and sony should stick at it.
stop using the beta as an excuse, it has been in beta for about 2 years. It's just being used as a fallback now.
is it not illegal for minors to buy mature rated films or watch them at the cinema in california? Either way I agree with the proposed law and if it's not already the case I think it should be for films also. If your parents approve there should be no problem getting the game anyway. All this law does is stop underagers buying a game that their parents would otherwise disapprove of if they knew.

I just wonder, if kinect fails could microsoft actually leave the industry altogether leaving the door open for Sega to return, or possibly Apple. I think when it comes down to it however, microsoft all in all has been positive for the games industry despite me not agreeing with online fees and a lack of game studios.
