I've played the game. No originality, the epitome of generic. You seriously think this game is as good as mass effect 2 and uncharted 2? Ridiculous.
Absolutely true, Metal Gear Solid is the game the truly got me into gaming. There is nothing that can hold a candle to this series. Halo? CoD? You're having a laugh. This is an experience that will leave an impact on your life.

Mass Effect 2 is my favourite game so far this year. I actually probably enjoyed it more than Uncharted 2.
To win game of the year, this year is going to be the toughest yet with games like SMG2, Starcraft 2, Halo Reach, RDR, LBP2 and GT5 all for ME2 to contend with. What an unbelievable gaming year this is turning out to be.

At the same time, put a top 360 player in a MGO match that involves some of the best players and they'll get eaten alive. Let me explain myself more clearly raztad. Online competitive multiplayer is more 'hardcore' on the 360. It is the console of choice for gaming tournaments and is considered the main console for FPS. Yes, I'd argue that in america that is what hardcore is despite the vague term. There is also no arguing that the wii has taken the casuals. The ps3 appears to be the in-between. Lots of hardcore and casual games and even just a blu-ray player for some.

I remember in the old Tomb Raiders you had to stand directly over the item then slowly pick it up. I did enjoy it, I was young enough to think it was so amazingly realistic.
I agree, sony did lose both markets. Hardcores play 360 and casuals play wii. Too many mistakes by sony on the ps3. To say it's a flop though is just plain ignorant. 3rd fastest selling console in history says it has sold successfully albeit not fantastically. None of the consoles this gen are flops.
It's sonys Halo in terms of sales and brand recognition. Of course it's not a direct competitor with Halo, both games will never hurt each others sales. Historically GT sells better than Halo.

You can platinum Killzone2 without the map packs but it won't be at 100%. An annoyingly clever move by developers is to add trophies to DLC packs almost forcing the trophy hunters to buy the said DLC. I've given up on trophies altogether now, I hate the way the are now used to exploit us.
