Anybody know how long the Beta will last?

I booked the day after the game releases (Wed.) but taking a day off for the beta is taking it to a new level!

It's a fantastic game, people don't realize how vast the in-game unlocks/rewards are such as pins/insignias and weapon bronze/silver/gold/platinum bonus points. They make a huge difference with leveling up faster.

Very well written article. I encourage all racing fans of the GT and Forza series to read the whole thing from start to end, it makes very good points.

Personally I found I enjoyed GT5 Prologue more than GT5. Not that the Prologue was a better game (obviously not as it had less features) but I expected GT5 to be so much better when it finally released. I ended up being so dissapointed I sold the game soon after as well as my Logitech G25 wheel. Good times with that wheel, but...

edit: I was replying to #13 where he said he wanted more Killzone. I said I would love a Killzone Liberation sequel but as a PSN download. Off topic, you're right. Where would they go? I don't know, I'm sure they could figure out a story.

Nah, I don't feel like getting lost, I think I'll stay. Come on, don't you want to see something new, something fresh!? I think it would feel pretty stale to do a 4th at least for the Resistance series(plus the what, 1 or 2 PSP games). Uncharted I could do a 4th however, but that's just my opinion.

New IP Insomniac please. Curious to see what they would do next, but please no more Resistance... they tried 3 times.. some good times and some bad times. Time to move on.

Well framerate and horrible textures. One level I can't remember the name of it I just couldn't help but notice how ugly everything was on the ground. I usually don't notice/care but when it's this bad...

I've been curious, is it the split-screen and 3D capabilities that made Insomniac have to dial everything down a bit?

Any of you guys stuck with a 1.6 GB game data file that's now corrupted and won't delete? Haha yeap, thanks Insomniac, good job guys. I have NEVER, EVER heard of something like this happening to people. Well since I sold my game it turns out the only way to delete it is to pop the game disc back in and re-download a patch... awesome.
