I would imagine it wouldn't really matter for those kind of players. If they're getting spanked and their k/d is bad they're still going to quit aren't they?
There's no difference (other than leaving a shitty round that you're sucking at) between staying until the end of the round and getting beat with a bad k/d and quitting half way through the round with a bad k/d.
I actually think this gives those type of players a bit of an advanta...
I have lost A LOT!!!! of points because of this in Bad Company 2.
Not only because of getting kicked off by the server but also having some rounds just not remember your stats at all even though you finished the round and it saved fine. It hasn't happened recently to me but it has happened quite a bit in the past. Getting kicked off is one thing but finishing and without any indication that the stats didn't save properly is really annoying.
Got it for $100 and definitely worth it. I love the 2 separate volume adjustments, 1 for the main volume and the other for adjustment of main volume to mic(chat) volume: like a ratio slider adjustment, very handy.
I wasn't an online multiplayer kind of guy either until I got hooked on Bad Company 2... with a group of friends or even strangers with mics, making a good squad of 4 people was EPIC. No other game for me has come even close to the teamwork needed to succeed.
Count me one of those as well. I NEVER EVER pre-order games but this one I couldn't risk showing up to the store after work at 5pm and finding out they sold out.

If you've read The Walking Dead comics (which are amazing by the way along with the AMC show) then the whole thing wouldn't have WOW'ed you. They pretty much stole that whole part of the story from the comics. I actually thought it was kind of funny.
edit: Since I got no more bubbles: in regards to co-op, it's fun but on hard it's REALLY easy, the enemy AI is pretty dumb at times.

easy but not worth a 2nd play through which is needed to get the veteran trophy (hardest difficulty in SP).

I found the campaign to be just okay. Not worth a 2nd playthough. MP: 8vs8, no thanks. Tried it, hated it. I'd rather play Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and soon Battlefield 3 which just feels so much BIGGER and better. Co-op I only put in about 2 hours on the Hard difficulty and found it really easy.
In regards to the ending... SPOILERS:
when he jumps and he falls into the heli... haha that's horrible, definitely a "Rambo" moment but so cheesy...
