NIKLAS ÅSTRAND’S DESIGN THOUGHTS: One of our largest and most vehicle-friendly map, Operation Firestorm is the classic Battlefield gameplay taken to the extremes. Size-wise, and with some puzzle skills, you could actually place three Atacama Deserts -- one of the largest maps from Battlefield: Bad Company 2 -- within the playable area of Operation Firestorm

OMG

It will deliver.

Uhh EA doesn't do that anymore, they used to charge $69.99 for new games but I believe they stopped for ALL their titles.

4.7 GB vs 25 GB... I like 25 GB better.

New technique to some of us who haven't been playing Battlefield since the beginning and link a video to loopzooking please.

Completely agree, will not be buying game unless the reviews are very good. Bought Far Cry 2 on day 1 last time and wanted to throw my controller out the window from the annoying re-spawning AI.

I'm guessing you didn't have a buddy to enjoy the great co-op aspect of the game?

This guy is an idiot:

His 1st pick: Shadow of the Colossus "Really, as it stands, all the game really has going for it is how much of a visual masterpiece it is, and how it has some of the most epic boss battles of all time. These days, we can get both of these things in a game, as well as many other aspects that make it better. Maybe back in the days of the PS2 this wouldn’t have been as overrated, but these days, there is just more to gaming then Boss Battles and visua...

Agreed, worth every penny @ $15... the theme of it was great. I loved the maps.

But it was so broken

I'm so bored of SP stories now, they're all the same. Same as B:BC2 it'll be straight to MP for me. What would you rather have dumb/obvious/predictable/impos sible AI or dynamic players online!?

That "demo" of BFBC2 came out 1 month before the game released just like this "beta" did. From my memory it was very polished, no bugs except for maybe squad chat not working but we got: UAV, heli, tanks, CAV, stationary guns... it was a damn good demo!

With Apple I don't mind spending a buck or two here and there, with Sony I wouldn't want to have spent $30,40 a pop and have no re-sale value.

Didn't have the patience for it, tried it and gave up after a minute (I know, should have given it more time). Was hoping it would be more pick and play right away and learn mechanics as you go... I was just lazy =p

Lucky bastard

Battlefield with vehicles and maps 10 times the size of COD and U3 please

5354d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

Ha thanks, good to know you can do little things like that in the game, I don't know if I would have tried it myself... getting eaten by a shark?! Crazy.

Who plays 3D, what a gimmick =p

Far Cry 2 sucked on consoles... looked amazing(starting wildfires made my jaw drop) but the game design was horrible.
