The more I play the more I like it but also the more bugs I find. The weapon UI is absolutely horrible though compared to how well everything was laid out in Bad Company 2.
Yea man, come on get with it... there was a beta that should have helped them figure it out for launch.
Voice chat + squad splitting on PS3: no word from DICE, nice.
Hey EA, take all that money you made and maybe add some more servers for PS3. On their official Battlelog news they insult our intelligence by telling us to use Server Browser to not get split up from your buddies in a squad but their "fix" actually doesn't work. So frustrating.
I'm starting to hate EA more and more.
@BeaArthur it's not a "works-every time" option. They really need to patch the PS3 version voice chat is super choppy and "Quick Game" should just work without splitting up me and my friends. If EA needs more servers that's their problem and the Beta should have plan for this stuff.

The game needs a patch (another one: 1.02) so many bugs and little problems need fixing
@erick: totally agree, had to stop playing SP only an hour in because I was so bored. Sorry been there, done that. Others have done better.
Isn't this why they had a beta? I get split up from my friends when we create a squad and voice chat is very choppy on PS3 these aren't small problem, they're really annoying. I said the same thing as you a few days ago now I'm just pissed because my buddies aren't playing it until it gets fixed.
They fixed it? Really? I'm calling BS. Played last night still got my squad separated and chat is broken on the PS3. Fuck you EA.
So it's an arcade version of Shotter 1 & 2 basically.
I'm sure they'll fix it soon. People usually blow this stuff way out of proportion, so you can't play once in a while.. like 95% of the time it's okay. I'm talking about PS3 by the way, have heard people having problems wih Origin if you're getting it for PC. PS3 has been okay so far, not great but hopefully these latest server work fixes me and my buddies getting separated once in a while from our squad.

Well if you played Shooter 1 & 2 this seems like it's identical with a skin change.
Who has time for anything other than BF3... that game is going to consume all my gaming time.

My opinion: the beta was horrible. Map/mode choice was clearly going after the COD crowd(as well as their SP/co-op campaign now that I've tried both out) but why not showcase what makes Battlefield unique: conquest with vehicles and a big map. I had friends who tried the Beta and just decided not to play it anymore because the bugs were THAT bad and Rush on that level was pretty crappy. Conquest on that map is really fun though.
