Would be nice to see Starfield release in a state of good polish. Bethesda need to free themselves of this old shackle of jank. There really isn't an excuse with Microsoft behind them.
I wish I could see this much merit in anything. I'm enjoying the game, but "goddamn insane, next level shit" it isn't.
It's a new IP from one of what should be Microsoft's flagship studios; it had better eclipse No Man's Sky. This game should be as weighty and punchy as Skyrim was for its time.
That's great to hear; 60 fps is a huge QoL improvement. Playability goes way up.
I know this isn't gameplay but it looks like they're going all out. I really hope they knock this out of the park. Would be great to see Ninja Theory blow us all away and cement themselves as a top tier Microsoft studio.

Part I and The Last of Us are the same game; ND simply wanted graphical and artistic consistency (and more money) by releasing Part I.
I didn't see anything exciting here - not at all. Like everything, we have to wait and see, but I'm certainly not pumped or even intrigued, really.

All these companies whose behavior we despise have amazing talent working for them.
Studios like Ubi and EA are chock full of talent, but they're hamstrung and forced to produce hastily made, soulless, all-for-profit, nothing-for-gamer mediocrity like the latest Far Cry and Assassin's Creed games. Huge swaths of graphically impressive play areas that are positively boring to the max.
They all need new leadership, and fast...
Microsoft are so bland and corporate. No excitement whatsoever anymore; just empty promises and Game Pass. All these years and virtually nothing by way of notable games.
As a console gamer I still see zero reason to buy a Series X. I can't think of one damn reason to buy one. Maybe I would if they'd show some upcoming gameplay and projects, but they aren't.

Starfield's character movement and animations look as stiff as their previous games. I wish they would ditch 'Creation' and use a more modern engine.
It's frustrating because Bethesda/Microsoft could do so much better - so much better.

I don't think anyone would dispute that modern games are more complex. I think most people just don't believe that unfinished products should be sold. It's that simple.
