It will likely receive at least some minor game play benefits from the new consoles. Sounds like what they're saying is they have no plans to go out of the way to give the game next-gen treatment.
Eh, that's fine.
Oh please - "absolutely brilliant."
It's a good, solid, fun game, but brilliant? No. There's no genius here; it's a simple, straightforward game. Let's not go overboard.
Anthem doesn't deserve existence.
Days Gone more accessible than Sekiro? You think?
This guy really broke some hearts in this thread. I mean, yeah, it's faster, more powerful hardware, but I get what he means.
I'm not looking forward to these consoles with a youthful fervor; this isn't the 80's or 90's, but I do welcome the power increase.
And you love trashing Microsoft. I get it, you're having fun, but you're always telling people to let other people enjoy things. Seems kinda... well, you know... you know...
Looks good enough. I just wish shooters would stop with the "Cover me! I'm reloading!" thing. Add a new word to that sentence - it can be anything! Get some new war lines FFS.
@ gam3r
I read that in Tom Anderson's voice. (Beavis and Butt-head camper enthusiast)
We're divided on that, just like Mankind was in the last Deus Ex.
I'm saying no.
I'm an 80's child myself and yeah, the 'safeness' of today is just goddamn ridiculous. Why is anyone squirming and whining over this? Whatever it is, it can't be any more disturbing than the cinema you cited.
What a response - I love these guys.
"If a game makes gaming "journalists" uncomfortable than it's a game I need to get day 1."
Hahaha; I feel exactly the same. They're uncomfortable and I'm interested.
Good. I'm glad it's morally grey and "uncomfortable" to be honest; makes things a lot more interesting. Do we really want the same 'safe' stuff every year? I know I don't. Let it be brutal, visceral, and unkind - it's war for shit's sake.
Now I'm really, really interested.
Games are coming...
This looked so off-putting to me from the get-go. The UI and menus looked painfully tedious and the guns and their stats looked awfully samey. With Destiny, you have superior gun play and cool-looking weapons that artists clearly put a lot of time into - there's something there. The same can't be said for Anthem which is just unacceptable all around - visuals are all it has. Everything else stinks.
I loved Alan Wake; think it was leagues above Quantum Break which was their last game. Alan Wake was so atmospheric and tense - really enjoyed the setting, game play, and the fantastic story.
Control looks like a total comeback for Remedy right now.
The original and Super C were great games. The Alien Wars was a step up, but I still prefer the oldies.
