Honestly, what demo doesn't?
Firstly, I'm a big fan of post-apocalyptic settings myself, and despite the game being run-of-the-mill in my personal opinion, I 'did' enjoy it, but I could never call it brilliant. I never had the pulse-pounding, heart-racing sensation you describe, and aside from the graphics, nothing really wowed me. The story-telling wasn't particularly compelling and it just didn't have any emotional weight.
I recall TLOU and the way I was so emotionally invested i...
I simply prioritized other games over it. I've heard lots of praise and some criticism, but I've heard a ton of praise so I 'WILL' get around to this game eventually. Insomniac are proven; I know it isn't bad. I just have plenty of games I'm more interested in right now.
You can have your opinion on Witcher 3, but in no way, shape, or form was Days Gone "brilliant." Days Gone is a run-of-the-mill, post pandemic story with some occasionally charming characters and nice graphics. It's a 'good' game at best. Going beyond that is giving it too much credit.
What exactly was "brilliant" about the game? I really want you to focus on the word "brilliant" and its meaning and your application of "brillia...
I haven't played it, but Insomniac are great at making games with fun traversal and equally fun combat whether it's close quarter or projectile-based.
I'll probably play it when I get a PS5.
Amazing? I think people plaster this word to everything and it's silly; whether they're talking about their friends, their dinner, or just a bottle of mineral water.
It's a pandemic story - no better or worse than so many others. It's good, but it certainly doesn't have the weight of a story like The Last of Us.
I liked Deacon. Good game. Fun little romp. I'd like to see the series continue, but I wouldn't say I'm pining for a sequel.
Not surprised - Cyberpunk 2077 looks so good. Yes, FFVII is my favorite FF, but I'm far more intrigued by the fresh, new Cyberpunk 2077.
What's with that attitude? It's not like a developer wasting time on a stupid mobile project; this is a TV series from a beloved game.
We can safely assume that you spend roughly 5% of your life being needlessly, senselessly angered over Microsoft and Xbox based on a cursory glance of your comment history.
The Witcher 3 is my favorite RPG of all time; they've certainly shown they can make an RPG. I expect more brilliance with Cyberpunk 2077.
To be honest, I'll probably do multiple playthroughs of this game on multiple consoles. I'll start with the X, then do playthroughs on PS5 and Scarlett. I'll change up the characters each time and take different paths each time. I also plan on maxing achievements and trophies.
If it's as good as Witcher 3 I can totally see myself doing that.
Agreed. It sounds like they're finally putting some real, honest-to-goodness effort into a game. Everything from the technical side of things to the actual content just has me really interested.
Interesting read.
The more I hear about discomfort and controversy, the more interested I become.
Beautiful. Pre-ordering on the X as soon as I get home.
I think a poisoning could work.
Kratos, foaming at the mouth, struggling to hang on as Atreus attempts to help. "Leave me Boy!" he yells. Then, the camera zooms away until we have a view from outer space. The player then sees the planet briefly shake while your controller inputs the rumble.
Fitting sendoff.
It's alright. Not good enough to replace my Ellie/Rifle/Forest theme.
I'm really like Game Pass; it's opening the door to so many games I would otherwise never try for a decent price, and I'm liking a lot of them.
I got INSIDE from GWG a long time ago and just recently played it. Great game with some really odd and fantastic twists. If you've yet to play it, now's the time to nab it.
