When I picture this game in my head I see greatness.
Looks like a nice, clean office.
I hope it's far away from the typical Souls experience. Miyazaki will obviously do his thing; probably make another strange, difficult game, and that's fine - just tired of the Souls format.
I wouldn't mind a 'little' Souls but I'm definitely liking the sound of "evolution."
"I'm not going to shit on it just because it is an EA game. I love Respawn so I'm keeping myself open to the fact it could be a great game."
Yeah, I completely agree with this. Respawn shouldn't be scorned simply because EA is publishing; they're a great team and have made some solid games.
I'm grateful for better hardware, but I can't say I'm pumped or hyped. I like to say I'm looking forward to things. That's how I'd word it.
I think it's just me getting older. I'm looking forward to The Last of Us 2 and Cyberpunk 2077 first and foremost. I'm not really excited about the new consoles yet - I haven't seen games. I'm sure once that happens I'll perk up.
That's not why Sony didn't show up; you think the high ups at Sony think that way? Media complaints didn't factor into their decision at all.
What's more likely is that they didn't want to show more of their three heavy hitters at this juncture because they don't want to spoil the games completely, and they weren't ready to announce PS5 games either, so there was no need rent E3 space. Simply put, it wouldn't be worth it.
P...
Wouldn't mind playing Unity again on the new consoles. I enjoyed that one. The micros were so intrusive though; red chests dotting the map, encouraging you to buy helix credits. It was difficult to peruse the map without the cursor locking on to one of those chests.
I haven't looked forward to a Halo game since Halo 3. Something about this game gives me that old Halo feel, and it's refreshing.
Ha!
We all know the answer to that.
It's a better place with Sony, but in this case, Sony's presence wasn't required. They're working on three heavy hitters and we've seen enough of those - don't want to be spoiled. Anything else they're working on (PS5 or cross-gen titles) will probably be shown at the next E3 along with the PS5 itself.
It only demonstrated that their presence wasn't required. Of course, it would have been nice to see them there, but their three heavy hitters still to come have been teased enough, so not necessary.
'Muahahahahahaha!' 'Forza 6's rain was utterly LAUGHABLE!' 'Muahahahahahaha!'
Dude, Forza 6's rain looked decent. Was it DriveClub good? No, but it didn't have to be, and it was also aiming for 60 fps. It was good for what it was - got the job done.
The HDR is the most impressive aspect of this game.
It's a reflex - can't be helped.
"Face it, your comment on Double Fine was a sorry excuse to dog on Xbox and you got stomped and started to make unrelated statements to try and deflect from your failure."
He does this on a daily basis and waves his stupidity like a flag. Basically, his entire argument (over the course of ALL those posts) amounted to nothing but "I don't like Xbox."
"Just spreadin' the gospel mate" "I'm a fanboy and you'r...
Great to hear. Giving developers freedom is the best thing for the developer and the product.
The CoD lobbies of old... we will never see their like again.
Yeah, Bleeding Edge was disappointing. I think a lot of people were expecting a single player, narrative story game like Hellblade, and honestly, so did I.
It's not that I expect Ninja Theory to just make those types of game, but Bleeding Edge was so far from what I expected or wanted.
Oh well.
You're not thick skinned if you saw my comment and immediately took umbrage, as my statement was ambiguous. You immediately thought "Is he talking about me?"
I'm talking about fanboyism in general and I can see why you took offense, as you've literally admitted to being a fanboy previously and have done so with pride.
I think that's exactly what an idiot would do.
I'm sure you meant nobody with any brains would welcome or partake in that sort of experience.
