They're still in some parts of the suburbs in Michigan.

The last one I saw was in St Clair Shores on Mack Ave.

Yep.

We had Blockbuster, Mammoth Video, and Family Video which is actually still operating. Great times as a kid and I still have my membership cards.

Any of those games receiving this title would be fine by me.

Sekiro and Death Stranding were both beautiful games. Death Stranding could be photo-realistic at times, while Sekiro's grand interiors and majestic exteriors were a boon to immersion.

Two games packed with detail.

I think developers must actually patch in updates; the console doesn't automatically update games I'm quite sure. Certain small issues could be automatically smoothed over such as loading times.

Not sure about anything else.

That has no bearing on anything, particularly the people (yes there are some) who've never played it. You've just made an utterly pointless statement.

That's not the point?

'It looks unhealthy' LOL.

It's about how real it looks.

It's uncanny.

The only way I can tell it isn't real is because the food at the southern portion of the plate doesn't look quite natural sitting on the plate.

That's it though - otherwise I could be easily fooled.

I loved it, but people are still entitled to their opinions. Shouldn't bother you - doesn't bother me. TLOU is one of my favorite games and people tell me it's a bunch of overrated dumpster pushing all the time, yet it doesn't bother me.

I loved Death Stranding - thought it was brilliant through and through, but I think a lot of people were expecting something different and were let down. That's fine, I enjoyed it, and that's all that matters.

Metro Exodus has no business being there.

After defeating the BTs on the way to Port Knot and hearing 'Asylums For the Feeling' on the way down to the city. That was awesome.

"Berry! Where's Berry!?"

"Jill, can you go?"

"I'm going with you. Chris is our old partner ya know"

The voice acting is so terrible but when I was 15 when this came out, I didn't notice. I was legitimately scared playing this game too. I think it still holds up in the frightening sense.

@Chum

Yes, "really."

You may be right but you may be wrong. Has Kojima said which came first?

We have no way of knowing, so for you to come out so strongly with your "Really?" as if you know for an absolute fact it went down that way is a little arrogant.

I think we can all agree that Death Stranding was my personal game of 2019.

2365d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

No, it wasn't made specifically for Death Stranding, but it fits in perfectly, and not just because of the "dooming" line.

I always forget about L.A. Noire and I played the 2017 updated version not long ago.

What an utterly terrific idea for a game, and executed so well. I gotta add that to my list now.

It can't be denied that out of the three in terms of games, Xbox is dead last.

That said I still very much enjoyed gaming on my X this year.

Days Gone, for me, was only notable for how lacking in overall quality it was for a PlayStation exclusive. I think Days Gone epitomizes the 'okay' video game.

Death Stranding I thought was brilliant, and its release secured Sony a place in 2019. I found the colorful, whimsical Concrete Genie to be an utter bore to play. Couldn't stick with it.

I'm not into baseball games like MLB, and I'm not into VR so Blood and Truth I cannot play. D...

Witcher 3 can seriously get you down in the early parts with durability and crowns that are hard to come by, but if you just keep at it, the game really, really opens up and you're treated to a world full of great stories and characters.

It's one of my games of the decade along with TLOU and God of War.

Agreed.

If we're being objective we go with Nintendo, and I'm not even big on Nintendo, but I have to acknowledge that they had some great output this year and just a great year overall.

That said, Sony still had a fine year.

Am I the only one who really enjoyed Jedi: Fallen Order?

I sorta feel like this game isn't getting enough recognition, and is sorta underrated.

I thought it was a great game on all counts. Hope Respawn continue with it.
