Games like VVVVVV are still fun. Devs just gotta get more creative, but that's a lot to ask from a genre that's been around for such a long time.
It's because everyone knows to expect a CoD every year that people don't get too set on any particular CoD game. Look at a game like Team Fortress 2. It's been out for years and instead of saving up a bunch of updates and releasing them with a new copy of the game the following year, they release them to be incorporated with the current version of the game.
MW3 has very little different with MW2, it's laughable. I don't see how recoil changes, new weapons ...
Sbeast64 has a website where you can download his Dragonborn song. He has a ton of other metal remixes from a lot of other games too.
I Pledge to Go Commando On September 20th. Interestingly enough, my first time. :O
There's a reason why franchises get milked though. People are still willing to buy them. But it makes me wonder if people truly do want a new product or if they've just been conditioned to expect a new one every so often.
Loving the old school feel of the game. Truly takes me back to the early days of PC gaming.
I hope this means my character gets psychic powers.
I remember it well, alternatively the song that plays for the good path (Return to Slumber) has to be some of the saddest music I've ever heard. Not sure if Dark Souls' music will be composed by the composer Shunsuke Kida as well, but it certainly fits the game nicely so far.
The music certainly has a more macabre and sinister feel to it than before, whereas Demon's Souls had a gloomier feel going for it.
I just hope that ME3 has tons more CSI: Miami moments.
Wow that's a lot of vehicle specializations.
PS4 had better be BC or heads are gonna roll.
After having played Origins I was so excited for DA2. After having played DA2 I'll be hesitant to play DA3.
Honestly, they should scrap everything they tried to do in DA2 and just make a true successor to Dragon Age: Origins, which was brilliant. If they instead choose to integrate voice-activated commands via Kinect, I swear I'll be pissed.
Lol. To each his own.
To me though, Demon's Souls is easily the most satisfying game I've played this gen. There IS a story to be had in Demon's Souls but it isn't shown in the form of dialogue or cutscenes, it's very subtly done in the levels themselves, its bosses and even the item descriptions.
I personally found the game to have a sort of finnesse to tell a story with its environments and atmosphere rather than force-feeding it to the player. Such a r...
I really like the kooky feeling of the game's art style.
Looks like it'll shape up to be a fun game. :)
Damn good article. It does suck how games will have the choice to be obviously good or blatantly evil. Often times having trophies for doing so just so you can go back and try the other route. Moral choices shouldn't be used as a means of replayability or just to see the other ending to the game, it should actually have you questioning yourself as you would in a real life situation.
Granted, I suppose a lot of devs realize that games are also a way to explore thoughts and...
One more week. :)
That's a damn fine list of weapons. Hopefully the USAS-12 or Saiga 20k won't be as much of an annoyance as they are in BC2.
I'm liking that art style.
They're very adamant about not following the mainstream trends. They are out to make games that they think are fun and challenging, regardless of what other developers are doing.
