That's the first game that came to mind when I read the title.
Yeah, I don't think Assasin's Creed has ever claimed to be a stealth game nor has it pretended to be one.
Not sure how this guy played this game and drew that it came from the same genre as Thief/Splinter Cell/Hitman etc.
Gonna be interesting how the games will play out if we're playing as Famine or Pestilence/Conquest.
Kansas, here I come!
Why...?
May as well have been a 360 exclusive game if they planned on treating the other platforms like second-rate consumers.
The PC folks had to mod the game themselves in order to fix the issues in their half-ass port and the PS3 guys had to deal with a buggier version of an already buggy game.
If they wanted to play favorites then they may as well have gone all-in instead of pretending that they were going to treat everyone equally.
This is the true battlefield we've all been waiting for.
@MrDead I assume he means the game will be 102% badass.
@Spydiggity
While the PC is usually the best performance-wise, more often than not it gets games that were clearly made with consoles in mind.
This results in controls that are inadequate for the mouse and keyboard and UI's that function as though the game thinks you're holding a gamepad. Vanilla Skyrim was a good example of this though mods have now fixed those issues. Perhaps a more recent example would be Ghost Recon: Future Soldier in which the PC...
I've been out of the BF3 loop for a long time now and upon returning to the game I tried renting a server for a day to see what all the jazz was about.
It was a normal Conquest Map-Rotation server with default tickets, nothing special, and we all had a lot of fun. Once the server expired I figured I may as well try out the servers that were already there and was surprised that over half of them were op metro 24/7. The worst map being played all of the time... no thanks. T...
Dead Space, Resident Evil, Metal Gear, Splinter Cell.
Too many companies wanting to make the transition to action-oriented games. Explosions and gunfights can sell games, sure, but they can also make their product generic as hell.
Would really love to play as Famine or Conquest, though not really sure how that would work out. :D
Damn it. Has he been talking to Molyneux again?!
It's gonna be weird having the buttons below the right stick.
But it looks a bit more lefty-friendly compared to the 360 controller.
I bought it and I already own most of the games.
The soundtracks alone are worth the purchase.
Don't Nuka colas make your piss radioactive and glow in the dark? Or was that only a specific kind of nuka cola?
Smurfs universe meets the Witcher would be badass.
Fan: We'd really like a Final Fantasy XII sequel. ;)
Square: Then we're pleased to announce...ah, I see what you did there. Too bad, FFXII sequel it is then.
Fan: :(
Agreed, I considered getting the Vita version at some point, but I really like to sit down and take my time with the MGS games instead of taking them on the go and being distracted all the time. Not to mention the lack of Peace Walker (still not too sure as to why that is).
At the very least, for the folks who do decide to get it, this version seems to be nicely optimized for the peripheral at hand.
Heard the D-pad was pretty bad. :P
