I'm still more excited for FF XXVII confirmed for the year 2027.
And yet 2012 tech doesn't free them to upgrade their engine.
Agreed, it just seems to be the hip thing to do these days.
Lawsuits ahoy?
Old King Allant is who I'd really like to see.
He had a great move set in DS and I think would really shine in a fighting game.
TERA or Diablo 3?
I'll probably be spending my entire weekend on both!
Looks like people are gonna be busy for the next couple of days.
That's just the thing though, they went from a strategic RPG to a hack and slash game. Similar to how they took Mass Effect from an RPG to a third person shooter.
While games like Kingdoms of Amalur are good, they are not what Dragon Age: Origins (the spiritual successor to Baldur's Gate) set out to be, and definitely not what earned it its fanbase and success.
At this rate, I may as well just wait for the Baldur's Gate remake. At least I know wha...
I won't say that Dragon age 2 was a bad game, but I didn't feel that it was a good one either. And it certainly didn't live up to the Dragon Age name.
I can still remember that one recycled cave dungeon...
I would happily wait for a proper PC port instead of the one-size fits all mentality that most ports get.
If your game has the potential for a better performance on a new platform, why wouldn't you take advantage of it?
Slapping GFWL (which is an easy transition from xbox live) and keeping the game at its 30fps standard screams "quick buck" and "lazyness". I expected more out of the great talent at From.
I doubt Namco Bandai is bringing the game to PC purely out of the kindness of their hearts. There's clearly money to be made on the PC platform and it's frustrating to purposefully cripple the game despite being capable of achieving higher levels of performance.
I loved playing this game on PS3, but just imagine being able to play on Blight Town without it being a laggy mess.
As it stands, it's like owning a race-car but being told you can only go...
Newer tech isn't gonna wait around for consoles. But if they'd like to keep using 7 year old hardware, then that's their business.
I personally thought they would take the Witcher 2 route of things. Since the Xbox 360 version is being released with an Enhanced Edition, people who already own the PC version will get the update for free.
That's just how I always expected things to work out.
Here's hoping for the best anyway.
Umbasa...
Make it more like Origins and it will be even greater.
I've been meaning to play this, but I figured I'd wait for the patch.
I might not be able to play it on the day the patch goes live though as I'm currently making my way through the first game. Really digging it so far. :)
I thought for sure Dead Space would make the list!
Yeah, that's the bit that worries me.
Hopefully, they do mean for a PC launch.
The last thing I want is character development on Slippy. *shudders*
Fast paced action and silly banter a la Kid Icarus would be great.
Damn shame.
Cole being confirmed as a playable character certainly came as a shock. ;)
