Not just Japan, Blu-ray is winning everywhere. And the PS3 is only $50 more expensive (or even cheaper) than the Xbox 360. It's looking grim for people who decided to support the 360 and only the 360. I'm rich enough to own both, fortunately.
Both of these comparisons are fake. The REAL comparison lies in the hardware itself. Play Lost Planet on PS3 with free online and no chance of your console dying the next week, or play on 360 where you have to live in fear of the red ring and pay for online. NOW I think it's obvious which version is superior. (Last time I checked, a few extra jaggies didn't make or break a game.)
Only worthwhile thing you can do on the 360 is boil eggs and sh*t.
Ten bucks say the person who thought of this is a Microsoft employee. Anyone who's owned the 360 for longer than half a year knows what it's like to get the red ring. And once you get it once, you'll get it again and again because they keep sending you refurbished consoles instead of new ones. Last time it took 2 months to get my 3-sh*tty back.

Why are so many gamers such wusses? I've played practically every horror game (I love the genre) and the only game to really, truly scare me was Fatal Frame. If there was ever a game that made you feel more helpless than Fatal Frame, I certainly don't know about it, and I've been playing since NES.

I think Yamauchi was a bit generous when he said that Forza has more features. All they have over GT is a poorly implemented livery editor and an auction house to go along with it.
GT does everything else better, ESPECIALLY the replays. FM2 has the worst replay angles I've ever seen, period. Turn 10 can tout that you can watch exciting races online, but they're far from exciting because 1) you can't see half the sh*t that goes on, and 2) switching between cars take several seco...
It's barely on the level of PSP. Not that I even care. Without some good 2D games (as in sprites and pixels), I'm not even considering buying the 3DS.
