Looks too similar to Trusty Bell... Which was great but it had so many delicious lolies and such. This, not so much. A rental at best unless you're a diehard fan of the studios involved
That's a shitload of dialogue I'll be skipping. I'm guessing they got someone on the team who watches too many movies, thinking more dialogue = more bettur. (Kojima's school of thought.)
I hate it when people assume that each pirated copy = one sale lost. There is almost no money being lost here
Wow, those are some mighty impressive and truly new details... The writer doesn't even know the "new" character is Raidou from the original DOA. My bet is that this is another crappy port. Team Ninja has been guilty of porting to death before, but since Itagaki left the ports are actually worse than the originals.
I've been very disappointed with Japan in recent years. Not because they can't make good games, but because they try to copy lame-ass American games (Vanquish and Quantum Theory are both Gears of War clones). I won't miss their developers if that's what it has come to.
Whoring out a series doesn't kill it. Look at Final Fantasy, the biggest whore out there. Namco's problem is that they don't take risks these days, or they do just plain stupid shit. I'm sick of mediocre Tales sequels... Their brightest idea was Idolmaster and they managed to screw that up by putting it on the 360
They also thought of it before the slim PS2, and the slim PS1... and the slim SNES
The sound difference is negligible because it's not like the new 360 will spin your game discs any slower, which is where most of the noise comes from--not the fans as Microsoft may want you to believe. If you want a quiet 360, play your games from the HDD. And power consumption... who cares? Most 360 owners aren't hippies.
What they need to compare is RROD rate. The most important thing is how long your $300+ investment will last before you have to send it away for r...
Daymn, look at that typeface. Pokemon is cool again! Oh wait.
This was taken down from the US site, wasn't it? Wonder why
I just can't understand why this stupid 3D fad suddenly returned in full force. Yeah this was neat in the 90's when I was a kid and still found pop-up books kinda cool. Today I don't want or need it, and it's only a matter of time before everyone else realizes they feel the same way. I just wish games like Gran Turismo wouldn't get delayed to make use of this idiotic technology.
I'd love to time travel back to the 32-bit era and show everyone this clip, proclaiming it's the future of gaming. Sadly it just may be.
Damn near splooged myself here:

Not just as a gamer, but as a human being, I wish this 3D fad would end already. Sadly I think it's going to take another year or two for the kids to get over it. In the meantime I say just tough it out
Carry...around...wha... About 50 games follow my DS wherever it goes :)
In any case, it sounds like the 3DS is both software install ready and softmod ready.
All I want is Jet Grind Radio. Pretty much everything else that's decent has already been ported or remade.
PS2 still wins. His face looks slightly better but if you've played Peace Walker on PSP you know it looks exactly like the 3DS model. They're using an upgraded model for cutscenes. Anyway I don't know where someone got off saying the 3DS is more powerful than the Wii.
Hmm, reactions to a Nintendo product... on Nintendo's site... Nope, no favorable editing there. lol I'm not impressed by 3D. That shit is 90's.
If there's one thing Nintendo understands it's their shee... ahem, loyal fans. Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Pokemon. They're all licenses to print easy money. For everyone else (parents, kids, etc), there are motion control and 3D fads.
Just not $15 a month sweet.
