because it is always the overly emphasized part of a video game?
and this is why gaming would never mature...
dragon age 2 a 6/10 but bulletstorm a 9/10?
if it's expensive to develop a new engine everytime why not just develop and optimize the engine on a high-end pc, then scale it down for the next-gen consoles, rather than just make an engine specific for the current-gen platform? pc's are a scalable platform after all, and most console prototypes are based on pc's.
microsoft, are you smelling money here? time to license out the tech to movie and gaming studios for cheap mocap tech :p
i never played spiderman 2 (never had a ps2), but i'm guessing it didn't get the record because it was movie tie-in, hence the stigma attached to it.
i thought dead space 2 was still quite scary even though it was more of intense scary than atmospheric scary. chapter 1* was scarier than in the first game though.
this had nothing to do with xbots. it's more like unsatisfied ps3 gamers who didn't like the dumbing down of the game.
how did this idiot gain so many bubbles anyway? pity vote?
same here!
AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! !!
i'm gonna get disagrees, but i'll be honest, i like fm3 over gt5, even though it was less realistic. the menu design was much better, the car tuning aspect was better, the soundtrack (not the generic rock music during racing, the lance hayes ones) was better, and fm3 included better cars rather than focus on the amount of cars to put in just to fill up the space in the bluray disc.
if fm4 has a proper driving physics customization options, plus a bit more cars, i woul...
yeah, and i have gt6, it's far superior than fm4.
just a better paced and longer campaign mode, plus refined combat. everything was solid, but those factors i stated were the ones marking down the game. even the driving i thought was really solid despite some criticism of the driving mechanic from gamers.
and i am one of those who agree with you :)
how about...
just scrap the whole damn thing.
would cost much less since you wouldn't have to spend more money on a lost cause.
valid point. sex is still largely being used as a tool to sell games, not something that contributes to narrative whatsoever.
yes, i support quality over quantity. i think if gt6 had 500 cars that would be more than enough and definitely more than what most other games would offer. forza 3 had about 400 cars, and forza 4 might have a bit more than that, so i think 500 should be just enough to outnumber forza. i love gt5 but i'd rather they put in higher details into cars even if the total number of cars is less.
proof?
generic? yeah, sure, there's thousands of fps' that let you play it as an action shooter, tactical shooter or stealth shooter depending on your preference, very generic indeed.
if only microsoft actually had inhouse game devs that would take full advantage of the hardware. the only xbox exclusive games that i saw taking advantage of tesselation was forza motorsport 3 and the other games mentioned above. the tesselation in fm3 background scenery gave the game's graphics the upper hand over gt5 in that aspect.
