nice read, with a picture of jennifer conelly as the cherry on top :P
*subject to player interest to continually play the multiplayer portion of the game.
i thought ds2's upgraded a bit between the demo and the full game.
i can see them having side missions like the true crimes games, where you get a report of ongoing crime, then you can decide to pursue it or not.
i believe rockstar still knows when a game should be art and when a game should just be a game. in rockstar i trust.
for me, sp is better than mp, since it's a more personal experience, while mp the experience is varied, and it would be bad if you have jerks ruining your gaming sessions. i think even if they wanted multiplayer, they should release it as dlc a while after the game is released, like how the gta mod team would work on gta multiplayer only after the full game is shipped out. it would result in a more polished game in both aspects.
definitely stellar, and i'm surprised by the new voice of isaac clarke. the story isn't as good as ds1 though, plus there's some forgettable characters like daina, tiedemann and nolan stross, even though their voice work were pretty good as well.
well, i don't think a franchise is supposed to past break-even at the first game, i think it's usually to create a fanbase so that they could produce a second game with lesser budget with a bigger audience. dead space didn't sell that much, but it generated a lot of fans, so dead space 2 sold more than the first.
people who disagree with you is clearly clueless about tessellation, or ps3 fanboys butthurt over having only software tessellation.
don't mean to be rude, but google it! even the article gave away some information on tessellation. you cant expect to be spoonfed everytime!
tessellation is still something devs are mastering in, but is getting popular very quickly. i think it's the next step in advancing video game graphics. imagine if you could see the necromorphs scaly skin, or the shape of the scar on commander shepard's face? it would improve realism a lot, and once devs have perfected it, it would be mainstream.
btw, personal opinion, uniengine's heaven tessellation is good looking, although extreme tessellation is seriously extr...
americans are on the losing side this time. of course it's original.
/s
well, when it's from the american side of the story, obviously only the good stuff would be shown, same for otherwise.
truth is, in war, everyone's a murderer. only the winner will be bestowed with the title of "hero".
slowpochter...
the land of of the biebers :P
oh ign and their unfunny toilet humor. could already tell by the title.
it is running on id tech 5. ign confirmed it.
i'll reserve judgement until i see more info.
until then, i'm just hoping the gameplay that made prey 1 unique would not be dumbed down to appeal to the masses.
and i believe pc gaming would be nothing without valve. thanks for making pc gaming even more awesome!
it was on the pc as well. how was it exclusive?
RIP bizarre. to me their loss is one of the saddest things in gaming history.
hopefully these guys would reemerge and give us pgr 5.
