Microsoft went through 5 major hardware revisions and way more smaller revisions of the 360, Sony went through more. It is absolutely moronic to think that this early in the lifecycle when the systems are selling like they are that they're going to sell a redesigned one at this point.
No it wont. Microsoft (and Sony) can and in fact has a very long history of modifying the internals of the console without changing the physical dimensions. You would have to be an idiot to think that them making smaller chips means a redesign this early in the lifecycle.
No, a slim console won't happen for another few years. The things just came out and are selling quite well. The slim consoles only come out when sales stagnate later on in the cycle.
5. No 4 player multiplayer in Borderlands 2
4. Vita not as powerful as PS3
3. Taco Bell Vita giveaway winners didn't actually win
2. BioShock and Infamous PS Vita games never happened
1. Certain features (ie Vita/PS3 multiplayer crossplay)
Since the engine has undergone much more optimization since BF4 there's a good chance it can run at 60. Assuming it will or that it won't is stupid when you're not involved with the development process.
That attitude is what has held gaming back for the past 8-9 years.
You clearly don't understand how addiction works.
I hope it sells well enough to get a sequel. It seems like they could actually fix a lot of what was wrong with it and make a good game. Like Resistance 2 to 3. 3 was basically a huge apology game and it was incredible.
My first game was Super Mario 64. I don't remember much of it other then a few levels and boss fights.
Microsoft went in to the console business because they assumed they could just take it over. That's a well known fact that's been stated by loads of people at Microsoft as far back as before the Xbox 1 (as in the first Xbox 1) launch. Also the fact that I have to specify which Xbox 1 I'm talking about is insane.
My big ones are Jak and Daxter and God of War. Happy that God of Way is pretty much confirmed although I kind of hope they switch to Norse mythology or something. The story of Kratos is pretty much over even if he is still alive.
You're either blind or trolling.
I LOVE pretty games. But if it runs like crap who cares? I want to play a video game, and framerate is the most important part of how a game plays. 30 frames a second is just barely usable, and if it goes below that by even a few frames I'm pretty unhappy.
GoG doesn't have any DRM. Therefore GoG > Steam
They're really not. They're mid-range PCs yes, but due to how consoles are designed they are much more than the sum of their parts.
Everyone is on the first generation of games... Asking for a console defining game now is insane.
US internet speeds (on average) would provide a less then perfect experience. The real issue is bandwidth used. Most people in the US have paltry internet caps and something like this would push them over their limit quite quickly.
Anyone who calls you a fanboy is an idiot. Personal preference is just that, personal. While I don't agree with you that doesn't make your opinion any less valid. What makes art so cool is it's totally in the eye of the beholder, never feel bad for liking something others don't. It's all about what you personally take from it.
The only reason I have a PS4 is because I love a lot of Sony's exclusives. While I'm waiting for them I would rather play cross generation games on a system that will run the games better. Plus multiplatform games run better on the PS4 overall. I'm gonna get an Xbone eventually, just waiting on a size reduction because I really don't have anywhere to put the thing right now.
They also didn't see Apple as a competitor in the smartphone industry and everyone knows how that turned out.
