Halo 5, moved me to sell my Xbox One
Not super excited. They’re the ones who said they didn’t want to fix their broken game because they were working on DLC.
The massively underpowered hardware was a shame but made sense given when they launched. It was in the middle of a transitional period in tech and it was either make the system affordable or make it powerful.
A sequel could absolutely fix the MANY issues with the first game, but it probably won’t get made because of sales and general perception of the game. Kind of like after Resistance 2 no one bought Resistence 3 even though that game was incredible.
It’s a game console, games are pretty important.
That is a completely massive list of fixes!
I fucking hope so!
Neither, wait on next gen
Of course we do
So they spent time and optimized the game to need less demanding hardware. Good :D
Yeah, there’s no room for improvement in the horrible CPUs and out of date GPU and what games even need more RAM?
I get a performance upgrade when I use a faster HDD. The stock one is 5,400 RPM and I use a 7,200 RPM drive. Load times are faster.
How could a box of hardware buy a company? Did the author maybe mean “Microsoft?”
i think it’s good that people who bought the game get something closer to what they were promised, doesn’t mean the developer is worthy of praise for releasing a bad product and kind of bringing things back in to line 2 years after the fact.
No it doesn’t. Adding things 2 years after launch that they promised would be there at launch isn’t worth praise.
Crash Team Racing > every other Crash game
Yes suing someone for selling 1 copy of a game as new when it was in fact a new, unopened game is really playing nice and not a completely terrible thing.
I tend to forget how awful kotaku is sometimes. Thankfully they write stuff like this to remind me constantly.
Ok so they didn’t optimize for PC.
Carts are too expensive. It’s gonn be discs ripped to the HDD again.
