I sure wish Sony would have used removable batteries instead of the built in ones.
Maybe use a twist bottom to insert them instead of the removable panel.
I don't like the idea that I have to take a break from gaming to recharge my controllers. I would like the option to just swap out batteries and keep the party going.
Also the batteries would add some good weight to the controllers and makes them feel more durable.
The only reason I would hate the move is the batteries.Non-Removable.
So if you haven't charged them in a while or you've been playing for a long while, you're going to have to take a break while you re-charge.
They probably could have saved some cost by using Double AA batteries. That way when you run out of batteries you can just swap out the dead ones and continue gaming.

Adding an Analog stick makes way for lazy developers who will do nothing but implement "Shake to do something" and nothing else. Exactly what dual-Shock and the Wii-mote currently do with their motion capabilties.
