Ricochet again?!
Really!? They can't even do a behind closed doors demo of something else besides ricochet?
C'mon Natal show me what you can do!
Needs Gun Peripheral that will allow user to aim without using the onscreen reticle.
Cameras are cheap. 2 high res cameras, front facing one 1.0 MP, back facing one 3.0 MP could be reasonably priced. Imagine taking a picture for LBP or Modnation, then race/play on it
UPDATE:
2nd camera would also allow for Video conference calls. Skype was a feature from the original PSP adding 2nd front facing camera would please the tech fans who wanted this feature in PSPGO
They should also add a sim card in there. They have the tech and patents from th...
old news. These have been published on the Sony site for quite some time now
Only Free throws? You guys have no imagination.
I would use the Move controller to execute special moves:
Spin Moves- by physically spinning around.
Dunks- Move up then sharp move down
Layup- Smooth motion up
Blocking - Moving your hand up with the other player
Stealing - Quick Swipe
Tipoff/JumpBall - Use the direction on your hand to direct the ball.
Passing - Again using directional Z-space to move the ball.
Bo...

Things shown by Sony:
1) The retail hardware
2) Bundles with a price range
3) Full press hands on with the device in action
4) Full press hands on with all 4 launch games
5) Full press hands on with Tech Demos
6) Actual product name
7) Target launch date
8) Interviews with developers
Compared to the Wii, it's clear that Move offers more accuracy in X,Y and Z axis. HD graphics with motion contr...
Showing Natal track the acrobatic movements is the thought I had when they announced this. However, during their last E3 showing, the avatar had trouble lifting his foot.
If Natal is able to track the acrobatic movements, it would be neat from a technical standpoint.
A better showing would be games besides Ricochet
Now when then Avatar contorts, MSFT can say it was done intentionally. With that said, I hope Natal has figured out "normal range of motion" for people is.
Move needs a Gun Peripheral to Aim without using the in-game retical.
Insert the Move into butt of the gun (Pun intended) with the bulb sticking out. Trigger button maps to gun trigger, Big move button maps to button back button.
Other buttons are placed around the big move button. Start and select are placed on the side.
NOPE! If Sony wants wide spread adoption, they SHOULD offer the alternative (DS3) for the same price point.
Controller Manufacturing is not the same as Console Manufacturing.
SideNote: Never mentioned anything about MSFT's pricing. Which is also WAY "overpriced". Overpriced = Too expensive
I couldn't figure this out with LBP1, but I wish you could download user created content and play offline.
Next step would be Download user created content and Add to it. It would have the original creators name, and Add another column of people who added to it.
2 Move Controller = 50 would be better
1 Move + 1 Navigation = 50
But based on the 1 Move + 1Camera + Mini-Game = 99 it's not likely to happen
That seems very high for 1 controller.
Reasonable price would be Navigation controller plus Move Controller for $50 USD.
Why $50? Because that's the price of DS3. 1 DS3 lets you play Socom. So for $50 you can play a Socom. This should be the same price for the Playstation Move controller setup
Natal = Fun:
Source= Celebs
1st batch of games: unknown. Hopefully Natal has more than Pet boys and Red Balls
Move = super accurate
Source= Tech Review sites
1st Batch of Games: Wii Shovelware. Hopefully 2nd batch comes out better
PC gamers said/say the same thing with Keyboard Mouse vs Controller.
I don't want to sit on my couch half ass playing. I want to be hunched over my keyboard ready to frag the next noob that walks next to my super mega computer with x54 graphics ddr4 memory mega gaming system.
Keyboard Mouse > Controller > Any type of motion controller.
There's lots of games and lots of genres. There's room for all 3/4 control types
of those 4, Only Alan Wake interest me.
Not enough Info on Fable 3 to say one way or the other.
Gears Story and Halo Story boils down to the same thing: Bad Ass Solider trying to save the world
I wonder how many of his PS2 games are legit
1) Don't play online enough to justify Live membership
2) Not enough 360 exclusives to justify purchase
3) Most 360 exclusives that peak my interest are available on PC
So far un-officially they have support for 2 players and support for using your own avatar.
Neither are worthy of a center stage E3 announcement. I hope they have something big in store for E3, because Sony has already been hinting at big Move announcements
I don't think so. They've been tooting their No controller horn for a long time now.
If they do demo something, it would be the object scanning thing that they have been showing in their trailer
