Good read, except I feel like this is common knowledge to any online gamer. Honestly, the best way to "deal" with Lag is to use dedicated servers, that way if you are lagging you will be at the disadvantage, and not the entire lobby. They could also use server list to help you pick a room with good/decent ping.
PS4 RUMOR: What we know.
It's not coming out anytime soon!

I do too as well, the ACR is so accurate, I find it a little difficult to deal with when close range combat against any SMG because of the rate of fire being so low.
Thats when i pull out the M9 and go nuts!
MK14 <3 Seriously does the job except for smaller maps
Witcher 2, but you can play it on the PC so..
Trolls keep trollin trollin trollin..
So let me get this right? As i have read countless articles about BF3 being better than MW3 and NUMBERS don't matter. Yet people do comparisons like this...which is exactly the same concept.
Both games in their own respects are good for their own reasons. People need to stop with this stupid filth they spew out of their face (or fingers for typing). Just stop being a baby and enjoy whatever you like. Numbers or not both games are great.
Why are you getting defensive? I was in no way bashing the Xbox 360 or Battlefield at all. I was stating what the HD package did, i was commenting HD pack as something another user had said. Why is it that every single person on N4G thinks everything is about their beloved game/console in a negative light? Did I say anything about the PS3 not having to install anything?
The HD or High-Res pack did exactly what it was intended to do, make the game look better on 360. That was...
No the HD pack did not stand for Hard Drive pack...it did stand for High-Res pack and look anywhere on the internet for the difference between the 2, it made BF3 look like an original Xbox game.
Nice comparison, i still feel that you shouldn't judge the 2 as the same. I personally feel like they are two types of different games but the same genre.
@Avernus
Hating on it means bashing it for being what it is (COD). When in fact that is all it is, my point was if they decided to make a new game from the ground up (engine,story,multiplayer etc) and the fans didn't like it than it would tank and that would be the end of COD. So yes you are right, Activision will run the same engine because of profit.
@GamerSciz,
I agree about if we as gamers do not buy the games it will open developers...
Call of Duty cannot be special because the developers are fighting 2 types of people. People like you who think that its the same exact game with a different number after the name who want change and better graphics and gameplay. The others being the however many million of people who buy the game and like it the way it is,therefor they wont run the risk of changing anything drastically because they'll lose sales and Activision won't let that happen.
By numbers alone ...
Honestly, being a heavy COD player since COD 4, and forward this game has been completely NOOB friendly compared. Literally painting targets with flash bangs for the entire duration of them being alive (Recon perk)...And people are complaining about "assassin" being over powered.
PRO TIP: Use Recon, throw flash bang in center of map and success.
PRO TIP 2: Use Sitrep Pro if you want to hear footsteps louder. (for you campers out there)
This ...
True, an opinion based on a lot of facts Microsoft is known for. It is how Microsoft works and in fact it works for them. Out with the old, in with the new and people will follow. There game plan will probably be push the new system support the old for a little while, have backwards capability for 360 games and market it that way.
Xbox and 360 are not "different ball games" it was just Microsoft growing as a gaming competitor. Being the first to release the "HD...
I completely agree with this response more than i agree with the article actually written about it.
Uh, the author of this article forgot one thing about Microsoft. When they release a new Console (or OS) they pretty much forget about the previous iteration of their product (excluding Windows XP). Sony was still supporting the PS2 well into the PS3's cycle and continues to support it. That being said this entire article's point is moot. But a good read none the less.
While the guy makes some good points about Microsoft, they will not simply keep the 360 alive. They ...
Alright, I understand the frustration of having to pay to have your UMD games on the Vita, but Sony did this as a precaution cause who is going to keep the UMDs? No one that's who. You will wind up selling the copy right after you put it on the Vita. So i don't see why everyone complains about that, its not like the Vita automatically makes the game unusable in a PSP after activating it so realistically that is the only way they could do this.
@ Rexbolt
I feel that Soaps death was a good spot for number one IF you are an actual MW single player fan, if you really think about it the entire time Price was his mentor. So when you actually play as Soap in MW and than see how he became Prices' partner more than student it really makes you feel for anyone who has lost someone that close to them, and i think that's what they were going for.
"ts been 2 weeks and I’m fed up with all of the bullshit that I’ve been through. I can’t enjoy Hardcore Search Games due to team killers. My Kill/Death Ratio is down the toilet due to team killing"
So..what you are saying is you aren't good at COD and because of that you don't want anything to do with it "anymore".
Hm. Fair enough
Y U MAD THO?
I play both Online and honestly they both play bad when it lags.
Random lock ups, freezing and dropping dead because the host is still moving. One shot deaths, getting hit markers but dying and kill cam showing no bullets fired.
It doesn't matter anymore what console you play the game on. Either way the lag is incredibly annoying.
