Apple innovating gaming at all is really not what I have been seeing lately. Honestly, All companies do this now. It's the way publishers and developers make more money. This is no different than day one ME3 DLC, or Online passes.
Truth is, to enjoy games these days you have to accept these changes and that's that. I am on your side about it. Do I love Street Fighter X Tekken. Hell yeah, but I am also upset with how they are handling the Disk content.

Completely agree, If anyone uses their brain they can pop in MW2, and than black ops, and than MW3. Then they can sit there and look dumbfounded when the realized how different Black Ops is to MW.
Yeah, I am a big COD fan. Even though lately they feel more of the same I decided to go back and play Black Ops and....I was amazed at how much more fun it was now after playing MW3 for a while. I am already bored of MW3 which is unusual for me, even the new maps are garbage.
So heres hoping Black Ops 2 puts Treyarch above Infinity Ward, and then maybe IW can learn them something.
People shouldn't really be comparing the two. Sony wasn't going after the 3DS market, they were going after gamers strictly and purely gamers. There is not one gamer out there that can say the PS Vita doesn't feel like a great piece of tech. There is not one gamer that can say Nintendo isn't good at making first part games. This whole "Race" thing is stupid as hell, considering the 3DS has been out almost an entire year longer than the Vita.

I think what Sony should do this time around is offer different variations of the next Playstation. They should have a PS4 with a cell CPU in it, as well as the new tech so that you can play your old games as well. This will give anyone complaining about BC the choice to buy a console with it for some extra money.

Considering all "gamers" care about these days are war torn FPS games, I think we should let nostalgia be. I loved road rash back in the 16- bit error, but i feel like "gamers" today won't really understand or grasp the concept , because it isn't a "popular" title or a "fps"
