As generic and over done as Halo is it is my favorite Xbox series of games. I can't get enough of being Master Chief and destroying face and knowing I am bad ass.

They aren't on the 3DS because even if they were the game would remain the same. Its the formula everyone loves and it works well for the series. What would Pokemon benefit from the 3DS? Aside from cleaner res, and maybe 3D Pokemon battles.
The benefit is too small for Nintendo to consider jumping ship with a series that largely remains unchanged since Pokemon Red and Blue.
Honestly I am completely OK with the WiiU being on par with 360 and PS3. IF IN FACT the price was right. If it was 299.99 (USD) I'd consider that a good price. Why? Because with the release of games coming out in 2013 we probably wont hear about a new console til at LEAST summer of 2013 maybe even not until 2014 (for Microsoft and Sony).

Honestly the ONLY thing I can see hurting COD right now is Halo 4 and that would only be temporarily. MOST people who play COD know the difference between an IW games and Treyarch, they also know that the leap from World at War to Black Ops was gigantic ( loved the currency system). They also know The jump from MW2 to MW3 was more like a wall was in front of said jumper and they faced the wall and lost all their teeth.

The textures and resolution are a HIGHER definition than the game originally released upon. Thus making it Higher Definition than the original version of the game.
