Here's the biggest "edge" the PS4 Pro has over the Scorpio: it's an actual product that is releasing in November, whereas the "Scorpio" is just a fantasy on paper, nothing more. There's really no point in trying to compare a real product with a nonexistent one.
Lol, no way any GTA game could ever run on the Wii U, the system is far too weak to handle this type of game. Too bad Nintendo cut so many corners when they designed the Wii U console, they just weren't thinking clearly about the future of the system.
Most people probably aren't. Nintendo is too afraid to even announce it and give specs, they really don't have much confidence in the system.
Nobody's missing much without a Wii U, unless they're diehard Nintendo fans. But that's a small (and rapidly shrinking) group of people.
Too bad the gamepad only has a range of like 8 feet, kind of lame.
So ridiculous. The "Scorpio" doesn't even exist yet, but the PS4 Pro is actually releasing in a few weeks. Phil can talk philosophically about the subject, but trying to compare a nonexistent product with a real one is just pathetic. I was a huge fan of Microsoft the last two generations, still have multiple OG XBoxes and 360s and hundreds of games for them, but they really blew it this generation. The Kinect gimmick single-handedly ruined the XBox One, by reducing the power ...
Well at least soon Wii U owners will have something to play on their consoles, which is great news for them.
He really didn't "miss out" on much at all. Just the usual rehashed Nintendo IPs, not much more.
At this late stage in the Wii U's lifespan, the system should cost $49-99, no more. Nintendo refuses to lower the price for one simple reason: greed. They are always trying to maximize profits by delivering cheap products at inflated prices, just look at their past history for proof (DS, 3DS, Wii, and Wii U).
It's all just a big conspiracy to dupe ignorant consumers, isn't it? Tell us more.
"The Wii U was announced a full year and a half before launch as the article stated. It was simply due to poor name branding and marketing."
No, it wasn't just "poor name branding and marketing." The Wii U was a poorly designed, underpowered, feature-lacking system based entirely around an unappealing gimmick that ultimately failed to deliver a solid gaming experience. Trying to blame it's failure on branding or marketing is entirely missing the...
There is a small core of diehard Nintendo fans who would literally buy a turd-in-a-box shaped like Mario, if they offered one, but that core has been shrinking for many years. Nintendo certainly can't afford to rely on their own games to carry a new system, if they don't get solid 3rd party developers on board, they're done in the gaming hardware business.
Looking forward to playing this game on the PS4 when it comes out, absolutely love the first one!
This article is absolutely right about the poor quality of Wii/Wii U VC games. Just look at this youtube comparison, showing the quality of VC emulation compared to the NES Classic Edition mini:
https://youtu.be/ocGdWRF84Q...
Nintendo really did a poor job on the VC emulation, customers who bought VC games really got shafted.
Very sad how blinded you are by the fanboy glasses. The 3DS is primitive garbage compared to the PS4 (any model), and the 3DS isn't even a home console.
Nope. If the NX bombs, it will be their last model of gaming hardware produced. They can't afford to keep failing in this market.
It's amazing that, less than 6 months from its supposed launch, Nintendo is afraid to say anything about the NX. They really must have very little confidence in the system.
This game is also getting a physical release on PS4 and XB1, as a Gamestop exclusive.
Unfortunately, you're living on your own little Fantasy Island; Nintendo hasn't been relevant to the vast majority of the gaming industry and community for many years. Their obsession with cheap gimmicks tied to low-spec hardware has been their downfall, and at this point they're pretty much done in the industry.
Agreed 100%. Looking forward to playing SW2 on the PS4 when it comes out, absolutely loved the PS4 reboot.
