Your exclusives however don't match the "OMPH" factor of the PS3's.

This is exactly what I've been saying.
Microsoft is trying to make a multi-platform game an exclusive for their system.
The casual gamers who play GTA aren't going to buy a 360 for the additional content, especially if they have to pay for it(you have no idea how cheap casual gamers are lol), that's what hardcore users will do.
Sony is WELL known for their games worldwide. Microsoft doesn't have that recognition past Halo. They seriously need to get a clue about this industr...

This video was optimized for web use so the quality wouldn't be reflectant of the actual graphics in the game.
Look at the official trailers using your PS3 or 360(i don't know if it plays videos i'm assuming it can) and you'll see how the game will actually look on your television.

It looks stiff. The character models look stiff.

SquareEnix has already announced 2 titles for the 360, Infinite Undiscovery(something about this game just looks....meh) and this unannounced MMORPG.
People are acting like it's XIII and vsXIII that's going over to the 360.
The point is. An MMORPG=Money, SquareEnix is a business that likes to make money, the more platforms this MMO crosses the more money they make and the more players in the game itse...

These games are associated with the Playstation.
They have been associated with the Playstation since the PS1.
To think Microsoft is going to simply grab up a whole new lot of gamers to their consoles with GTA4 isn't something that'll happen at the snap of their fingers.
It probably dawned on them, just how difficult this is going to be.
They have to fight for sales in NA, it's the only territory they have at the moment. What makes it even harder is they have to share ...
GTA4 is not a port.
It was built from the ground up using the PS3 dev-kit.
Meaning there were two teams working on the game.
A 360 team and a PS3 team.
Hence the reason why it's reported as being equally as impressive on both systems.
A port would have caused loss of quality when coding is transfered from one platform to the other.
Rockstar isn't a lazy developer, they have the equity to finance two development teams.
Everyone in my neighborhood is talking about getting the PS3 now.
1stly because of the price, 2ndly because of GTA, GT5, MGS4 and also because of the recent Blu-Ray news.
When I asked about the 360, the general response was the 360 doesn't have the games they want and it doesn't have a Blu-Ray player.
GT5 is actually the biggest reason why most are buying a PS3.
Uncharted did have an installation process it was just not long as DMC's.
I have no idea how Capcom managed to create a 22min installation process.
It's funny to me how HUGE a deal GTAIV is to Microsoft this year than any of their huge exclusive '08 games...umm...hmm...that's another topic by itself.
