1. It's been on the development for PS3 for a long time of course, there may be PS4/Vita port but I won't get my hopes up.
2. PS3 install base is already very high especially on a JRPG genre.

Titanfall won't be a future-changing game, but it will give you fun and good times. And it's certainly overhyped but can you blame them? Right when MS losing in sales to Sony and then comes a game that everyone is hyped about, it's normal for company to use that chance and blow the hype even more.

It's because of the money we have to spend for a new game is quite much compared to movies or books, that we have to be more selective in buying games.
For me though, in games metascore above 8 means it's a great game even those who didn't like the genre would find it interesting, and 6-8 means good for those who like the genre.
Uh.. a Blu-ray movie is easily 1080p because it doesn't have on-spot calculation and process like a game, it's like saying someone with a calculator has to finish an exam the same speed as someone with a cheat sheet..
that aside, I agree 1080p needs to be standard and 30fps is perfectly fine unless it's a game that needs fast reaction, like FPS
