yeah about that, Xbox never got big even since previous gens outside NA/UK, PS completely crushed them outside those territories, just ask anyone that live outside NA/UK and you'll know.
even more now that they chose to focus on that all-in-one entertainment, that's only available on NA/UK you know..
IMO this would benefit MMOs more than single-player games.
What the demo show would be very useful for multiplayer games, where many event happen at once in various places and many gamers populate an instance of game.
what makes me curious is that the demo show that cloud helps on logic computation, calculating each asteroids movement, or they can be used to run many separate AIs at once, many events on the same time, well this is the basis of server-side computation,...
@RPG_Lover well they just said that recently after seeing Bravely Default success, what do you expect them to do in less than a month? come out with a new legendary RPG ready to be shipped?
have patience.
so you're saying it's fine going too far like that as long as you say april fool at the end of the day?
please bear in mind this is company to company, not personal business like the comment section here.
well if the news about square enix renewed focus to JRPG is to be believed, this seems hopeful.. as long as it's not mobile game that is.
it's because if you're on XB side, no matter how offensive XB fanboys troll Sony you don't feel offended, thus you analyze their bashing objectively, not with anger feeling, and when Sony fanboys trolling XB, you can't analyze it objectively anymore because you feel angered, this making the bashing several times feel more offensive.
The same can be said for the opposite party, it's just like any other fanboyism, in sports or movie or books, each try to make their s...
yeah, tight competition ensures both to give their all.
@Volkama: Oh, my bad dude, I thought you mean the exclusivity deals, yeah if the money is for funding the development then it's okay, it's a different case if the money is for buying exclusivity though..
@others: lol, just because I make TF deal as example of bad exclusivity practice doesn't mean I purposely bash MS, it's just because it's the most recent and relevant example. No matter what the company is, MS or Sony or Nintendo, buying exclusivity is bad fo...
@Volkama Titanfall would eventually come out on XB even if MS didn't buy exclusivity, they can instead use that money to fund another game.
If you see it on gamers point of view the deal is a loss really, however, if you are among those that care about sides more than games...
is it just me or that picture of Phil looks creepy, like he's gonna murder you in your sleep
seriously? didn't you see who win big at BAFTA with their exclusives?
you can try the patch 2.0 without buying expansion though, the smart loot system and huge class rebalance makes it so different than pre-patch 2.0. I'm preordering RoS after playing patch 2.0, it feels more like D2 more than ever.
XB never does well outside US/UK even since previous gens, just ask your friend that lives outside US/UK.
And now MS chose to go multimedia, which many of the features won't be available outside US/UK, outsiders can only choose based on games, add to that the fact that multiplat games perform better on PS4, MS's Azure isn't ready globally yet, XB1 install base is too small outside US/UK to buy it only for multiplayer online, PS has proven with their history to cater for mo...
Whoa, the gameplay looks similar to Valkyria Chronicles!
a must buy then :)
my list in no order:
Uncharted 2
God of War 3
MGS 4
The Last of Us
Little Big Planet
GTA V
Red Dead Redemption
Ni no Kuni
Valkyria Chronicles
the last spot I'll save for Persona 5
yeah, I can't believe how neat it has become since patch 2.0: smart loot system, class rebalance(though that still needs work), AH shutdown. But I don't really like the account bound item.
I agree, except the bit where he said "Pray Microsoft continues shelling out money for this franchise to remain on PC and Xbox only!"
It's better to let it go multiplatform, that way EA happy they got more money, PS happy they got money too, PS owner happy they can play the great game, MS can use the money they use to pay EA to invest in another game, in turn Xbox owner happy they get another game from that money, everybody happy!!
Just because few months after launch they don't have many AAA games doesn't mean it'll be like that the whole life cycle,
in case you don't realize 2 of 3 major 2014 BAFTA winners are PS exclusives, PS3 still spitting exclusives here and there while X360 abandoned by MS so much that they didn't market anything on it for their current biggest game (TF).
if you look at PS history you'll know the games are coming, just be patient.
The weapons from FFVII, weapons from FFVIII, Ozma from FFIX, hell, every main FF games have superboss.
actually the article didn't really explain why the cloud is oh-so-great,
Asteroids mentioned on the article has predetermined path, something that can be calculated way before it happened, thus it's no wonder if the internet is down they can still move according to their orbit.
This can help AI too, as they most certainly have predetermined behaviour, something that TF folks said help them.
This is called, well, server-side computation, something that&...
