Love that idea!
Would be nice with a in depth weather and season system like in Shadows as well. Not needed though, but it keeps the world looking fresh.
I enjoy the series as it is now, but I think you're spot on about how it felt like the series had a direction. If they're going to reintroduce the animus and a new crew of modern day people I think the series is in need of a total reboot. can't see that happening but it would be exciting to see what good writers could do with that. I too though we maybe would get a full game with the modern day Desmond crew and that it would take place in modern day where they utilized what they l...
I'm optimistic about this one. I'm very fond of the new stealth mechanics shown here. I really want to like this one, and I hope that Ubisoft have learnt from previous mishaps. But who knows.
It's going to have a though time even if it's good or not anyway. The YouTube 'gamers' that earn a living by creating negative videos on popular narratives will continue to attack Shadows for all it's worth as it's made by Ubisoft.
Yes, and there's also a redesign of donkey Kong so he looks closer to the animation movie. Worst case scenario is if they include voice actors from the movie. But I can't imagine they'd want to do that... Hopefully...
I feel like I’m losing brain cells whenever I see anti wokers comment. They’re so fragile. If they don’t want to play the game because it features a woman they don’t find attractive then fine. But why do they have to make a huge fuzz and whine when something isn’t catering to them?
I just started playing Star Wars Outlaws and it actually gave me hope for Ubisoft. It's not a perfect game, but it at least shows that Ubisoft is willing to change. How you explore the game by not having a map full of icons, no ubitowers, and the focus on stealth and consequences are rather good things. It also looks amazing. That said it could be a lot better and refined, but it's giving me reason to believe that they are willing to not make the exact same game on repeat. I might be ...
Days Gone might have been enjoyed by more people than Rdr 2 in the same way that McDonalds is enjoyed more than fancy restaurants. In that aspect it might be better for some. Rdr 2 is miles above Days Gone in how it's developed. Days Gone is rather basic in comparison, though still good.
Awesome. I visited Nintendo World in Osaka last year and loved it. And I’m heading back to Japan in a month to visit Donkey Kong Country. Can’t wait.
If you’re looking for a serious answer: 26th september 2024, Echoes of Wisdom. The physics and freedom in exploration with creative use of echoes was innovative.
'Same sort of games every year?' What are you on about?
I get what you are saying, and I wouldn’t like the scenario of the examples you mention coming true. But I think continuing on with Ciri feels natural as she has been established as Geralts heir for quite some time. She even had gameplay segments in Witcher 3.
I personally think it’s a breath of fresh air and gives the developers bigger room to tell new stories.
Why is playing a female protagonist such a problem for you? Ciri is a well established character in the Witcher series and it totally makes sense.
@Skudermasker89
You guys make me laugh. You’re so easily triggered.
I can easily see how somebody finds Wukong a 6 and Veilguard a 7 even if I personally don’t see it that way. They both have flaws that are either easily ignored or a major gripe depending on the player’s subjective opinion. Personally I found that Wukong’s story was poorly executed and that the level design was at times poor. In Veilguard I liked the combat, but the dialogue and companions were uninteresting and lacking in personality. To me Wukong is 7 and Veilguard 6.
@Zombiebuerger638 Where was all this hate when Baldurs Gate added the option to make a non binary character?
And why do you even care so much? Such a negative mindset.
Why so fragile?
I think a lot of older gamers are aware of Pokemon being games targeting a young audience, but that doesn’t mean Game Freak gets a free pass for anything they do. They own one of the most profitable IPs in the world, but their games still release with technical problems and lack of creativity. I think it’s right to expect better games. I don’t understand the need to defend them. But I guess they don’t need to improve as they sell millions anyway.
IGN is a huge media corporation with many individual opinions. Your bound to both agree and disagree with them, because that’s how different opinions work. They also diagree with each other inside IGN
Comparing IGN scores and calling out IGN for being ignorant without looking at the individual reviewer don’t make sense.
Probably not. But seeing as rebirth did poorly in relation to their expectations, and Square having stated they are focusing on mutliplatform ventures, it could be because they don’t want to brand FF as playstation exclusive. That’s probably not it though. It’s probably something way less dramatic
Was there not sources years ago saying that the new Dragon Age would be multi part live service games? I’m happy they went another way, but I’m sure they’ve gone back and forth with different concepts before landing on Veilguard. I’m just happy we get a new one.
Agreed. I’m 32 hours in and level 25 but have only finished the prologue. It’s a huge open world to explore and a lot of side content, so you don’t need to focus on the story to enjoy it.
