I f*cking hate journalists like this - Rebecca Greenfield - paints a two-dimensional picture of what's happening. Last time I checked it looked like the majority of users on this site were complaining that Julie hasn't exhibited any interest in gaming - and this is from the page she's basing these comments off; she's literally handpicked a few outlandish comments and concentrated the first half of her article on how juvenile we all are.
It's women like her that al...

Groo - Dude, calm down before you end up trying to murder one.
You've obviously had quite a few bad encounters, and you know what, a whole load of those women probably are like Succubus, especially the ones you mostly see on TV...(my god they're the worst) but don't for a second EVER think that all women are in it just to be the next big pop idol. I know for a fact there are plenty of American women who are insanely intelligent and care for much greater things other than ...

I think a lot of you are missing the point here; since when have we not been able to access our own online games library on our own account on any PS3 device? This is akin buying a game on your Steam account, downloading it on one PC, then downloading it on another PC...ON THE SAME ACCOUNT!

This article is mainly about 'play as you download' and I quote “you can visit your friends house you can log into your account and play any game from your digital library..."...

It is so annoying, agreed.

From a retailers point of view they set it high as they need to see how competitor prices will come out. Everything is pre-order right now, with these pre-orders, even if you're happy at £60, you'll be charged the lowest price before launch as they'll probably keep changing weeks ahead. If they end up setting too low and everyone else is charging high then they've effectively lost out on opportunity profit; they can't charge...

Used to be a PES lover, then started playing FIFA since '09, am very much looking forward to the new PES - its like they've come up with their next gen game and put it on the PS3/360 for us.

What really gets on my tits with FIFA though is that EA refuse to fix anything that has been wrong with the series since '10. I appreciate the tweaks, defending and better physics detection in the latest game but trying to do anything that involves menus is akin to digging my...

Such a shame to hear of someone so passionate pass away. A reminder of how fragile and unpredictable life can be even when things are looking their best. Condolences to all, he'll be missed by many.

@ PositiveEmotions - Perfectly said. Can't wait to see how both consoles turn out, whilst I'm not a fan of most of M'soft's business practices, there is something to be said about their overly risky love for running into things headfirst.

I can't buy into the notion that having localised content is a benefit of region locking; you're saying all these publishers can help sell a game in a country with different copyright laws due to being 'lost in translation', and that these publishers only pop up because of the appearance of region locking - that is absurd!

It's easy enough to not sell a game in another country if it fails their copyright standards but an outright lock achieves absolutely n...

This article is about as valid as - "My sources tell me they'll release another unit which actually undercuts the PS4 by $50, however, it will come with Red Ring."

Really liked the first one but didn't love it. Going more open-world and full camera controls in the sequel is exactly what I want to hear.

As gorgeous as the first game was I never really felt it controlled as well as it should have, not sure if it was the frame-rate or slightly stiff animations but it always stopped me from regarding the game as a great.

Looking forward to this next entry.

I hope to god the new PES is good because I'm sick and tired of EA, they believe we're all f*cking retards.

It's not great that the next FIFA isn't coming to PC, but its understandable especially when it comes around the launch window of a new a generation of console - here's the simple truth everyone, FIFA is one of the biggest titles in the world, it helps sell hardware. Not releasing on PC gives you more reason to buy a console.

Or hell, MS could sell a fetid turd and it would still sell amazingly well in the US.

Ocelot

I used to say the same, could'nt really explain it, there's an intangible quality about PES that was lost on me once I played FIFA 10 but maybe the majority of us will be playing this next generation.

What they should really do is introduce a ridiculously easy console modding feature, used to play this on the PC with 250 stadiums! Oh the days.

Well said to all of the above. I find this is such a difficult (even annoying) issue to talk about; on one side FIFA 13 is still a great game, on the other; it still has the exact same bugs and issues that the last ones had.

I feel its not so much the game hasn't progressed much in the last few years...its the fact we're constantly swindled into paying more $$ for more of the same every year. On top of that there's the feeling that there's just no urgency from...
