Hmm this should be interesting...was hoping to buy a PS4/One as soon as Phantom Pain came out.
According to this thread it's 1140 degrees!
Really guys? You think there's a lot of choice? It's a launch! - admittedly I completely forgot about 3rd party games.
To be honest...there's not much choice.
Someone mentioned Einhander...not exactly a classic franchise but dayum that'd be awesome. Never could beat the game though.
How can you complain about this score...look at what they're saying and just watch the gameplay videos....it looks so...tired.
I'm playing the game on high settings, it's not so obvious in battle; there are a lot more bloodied soldiers but not seeing gibs flying about the place. Would love to play this game on max settings.
One of the most satisfying parts of this DLC is the after-battle animation when you've just slain an army on the world map and your general cuts into the enemy (there's a lovely little spurt of blood now).
Am I the only person here who's skeptical about this whole story. C'mon, a bunch of PR guys from Sony said "write down your contact details and the PS4 is all yours". Find it very difficult to believe. Then this kid has the audacity to check out the Xbone booth AND feel pissed off when they back-hand him AFTER he's just apparently received a FREE PS4!? Like you'd really feel any sort of animosity towards anything (even mushrooms) after receiving a free god-damn lucky...
Completely agree gamer1138. Fell in love with the original. Fell asleep in the 2nd, and 3rd, and so on...(actually quite liked the last one)
Thanks hitman, that's pretty interesting.
To be honest, I personally cannot wait to upgrade my rig (maybe Nov/Dec), in time for the next-gen releases (apart from FIFA!) and now that AMD have finally unveiled their GPU lineup we should start seeing a much needed price battle between themselves and Nvidia. Exciting stuff!
I find it interesting the game needs (along with Watchdogs) a 64bit ver. Windows.
6GBs of Ram!?
Aren't these coming out on current gen consoles as well?
I completely agree, this could end up being Microsoft's Mario Kart...just like Playstation All-Stars is Sony's Super Smash Bros...doesn't mean its going to be any good though.
So what's the law on intergalactic warfare thousands of years in the future?
Haha was about to say the same thing.
Me in a fight...windmilling my arms for about 5 secs then becoming wheezy, slowing down to a crawl then eventually being sick. Guess that would make quite an interesting fighting game. In fact...anyone up for helping me kick start a new game...AFC - Average Fighting Championship?
I'm thinking the same, general reviews so far have said menus are a little faster etc etc but this guy's copy seems awful. Currently at work, expecting FIFA in the post today...maybe I'll just go out and get smashed rather than play this tonight. Either way, I'm definitely getting PES 14 for the PC...providing there aren't framerate drops like the PS3 demo.
Final announcement - Half Life 3...on all platforms...best on Steam OS. Now that would be a great way to push Steam OS. Mother always said dream big.
Elite24Gamer - I'm sure this wasn't on purpose but you seemed to have misquoted the text from the article...c'mon man, just highlight, copy, and paste it if you have to.
Like this - "First of all, the memory systems are also significantly different. The Xbox One combines 8GB of 2133 MHz DDR3 memory with 32 MB of embedded memory. The PlayStation 4 skips the eSRAM and provides 8 GB of 5500 MHz GDDR5 memory. This means the Xbox One provides 68.3 GB/s and 102 GB/...
My heart says yes but my mind says no. Will wait till there's enough console exclusive games to warrant a purchase.
In the meantime, (around November) I'm going to sort myself out with a new PC, very exciting times what with the new AMD and Steam OS unveils. Looks like a lot of the 3rd party pubs and devs are going to be giving the soon upcoming PC games the next-gen treatment too (apart from FIFA...no surprise there EA you sh*tbags).
Also, there'...
Please tell me that's a toddler's hand in the picture...going to need a bit more space.
Let's look at this article from a neutral view...WOW this article is shit! Thanks for backing up absolutely nothing and drawing conclusions from what can only be described as a set of skeletal stats.
I don't disagree PS4 is doing well but honestly, is there going to come a point again where we actually celebrate 'journalism'...hell or at least someone that can write something slightly insightful?
