GTA4 <insert multi-platform game> was developed knowing it HAD to fit onto a DVD9. Do you think Rockstar spent years & years of developing the game and, by the sheer grace of Buddha, found out it could fit onto a DVD9 only at the very end? They cut corners and limited the game, imagine what GTA4 could have looked like on a Blu-ray with no limitations. *drools*

Downloaded the update from 0.98 -> 1.0.
Noticeable changes:
1) In-game XMB now works.
2) Background downloading of each area.
3) More people. lol
4) Slightly faster loading of levels.
5) Re-designed "PSP-esque" menu when pressing Enter (it was your personal PSP in 0.98)
So far so good.
I know my efforts are pointless against the likes of you but sequels generally sell better since the name recognition is what sells, not the game itself. Creating new IPs is a risk, that's why Hollywood likes to make another sequel and MS likes to make another Gears or Fable or Sony likes to make another Resistance, etc. Why do you think Nintendo is making another friggen Mario or Metroid or Zelda?

Edit: Does anyone else think comparing multi-platform games is pointless? Developers will try their hardest to get them to be virtually identical. If by chance they aren't equal it's the developer's inexperience with that particular platform. I've said it before, but the true test is to compare exclusive games.
Just so we're on the same page: the fact the PS3 is not currently in 1st place means Sony should kill off the PS2, PS3, and PSP? I don't need to remind you that Sony crushed the competition during the PS1 days and obliterated competitors during PS2's rein. Despite the Nintendo DS selling really well the PSP is selling better than most would have predicted. Sony has won 2 generations in a row and now you want them to suddenly bail?
