This idea that MS ONLY have to respond to the reveal is also wrong. Sony have only lifted the skirt of ps4. You know most of what's there but still stuff to reveal and potential surprises held back.
I listen to a lot of podcasts and most media were being told late April and it was put back a month. No smoke without fire case, I believe.
Yet ps4 announcement had no effect ??
And Capcom wonder why they are failing . The day they moved away from the PS fanbase, is the day they lost me. Nintendo and MS exclusives and weakest support on PS. Struggling more than ever. Duh! I wonder what they got wrong?
I love this " PSN has no party chat". It's true you can't cross game chat but most online multi player games have a party system and mute options for all or individuals .
People say PSN players are ignorant of Live and then post crap that suggests they know little of PSN
Truth is, Live has better download speeds, more headsets , cross game chat and a unified front end.They are Live advantages .
PSN has more exclusive and varied games to play and excel...
they've been outsold every year but 1 by ps3. Usually by about 2 million . That was with a 12/16:month launch advantage .

PC guys knowing components is like a car guy giving an opinion on how a car handles based on it's engine .
They ignore the fact the "tablet" CPU has become 2 stuck together or that more stuff is designed to operate on GPU than PC equivalent .

I'm not saying PS4 will out power a high end PC but look at what ps3/360 is capable of based on specs. These new machines will be far superior in design terms

OR should be keep adding new ideas to old , refine things and continue our exciting and varied content evolution? Broadening our options of play type , visual style and control
Plus 4 extra months in EU and much of the world. This 1 year lead time applies to US/Japan . We had to wait 16 months. I bought 360 at launch
I couldn't wait for ps3. I also owned a Wii. Ps4 only next Gen. The other 2 were not really needed.
I feel UK launch is a year away. I'll be gutted if I'm right too . Any time this year will make me very happy.
Sony fans expect new IP every Gen
It's the reverse of Nintendo fans . A few IPs vanish, new ones replace and some older IPs reappear

This will appeal to the same core as GT. Hardcore racing gamers and casual gamers who are petrol heads.
My stepbrother plays only GT on ps3.......a lot . He would love this too .
With a big 360 head start. That may be very significant in ww sales.
I think this arguing makes gaming look a bit silly though. Both machines will be good, I'm sure.
I will go ps4 for Sony games, others will go Xbox for MS games......and hardly anyone buys a Wii U ;-) ( joking....ish).
I just don't understand the appeal of this . I'm serious . Can someone tell why this is even slightly interesting ? What is the advantage for the consumer besides 1 less remote? That's hardly a hardship . What if you don't like MS UI vs your cable box? I'm happy with Virgin TiVo. It will surely throw up some compatibility issues too?
Wii U is a bad design. That is the problem.

Bottlenecks have nothing to do with overall power and we are still in early games mode. It will improve over time. It will never match a high powered GPU. What it will do is punch well above it's spec class and be easy for devs to use. We will see lots of wonderful games that you cannot get on PC. Let me guess, graphics are the most important factor now ;-)

Just massively over rated. Like many 360 exclusives . The games media have always been kind to MS
