For another MS branded one probably.
I liked Gears but Halo still looks way off the graphics pace and no where near their claims.New 360 looks better than I thought it would and is easily best looking Xbox yet.It was an ok conference.C+.No new games really. In fact less than Sony have shown pre E3.
Did kicking a ball on PS2 with Eyetoy.Still possible with PSEye,just not very enjoyable or interesting.
It's called branding.Singstar has sold over 20 million and is excellent,if you like karaoke.Me and friends(hardcore 35-40 year old gamers)play it after BBQs often.
Marketing Gurus? In English we say Wankers for that
Stop swinging that hand bag randomly, you might hit someone. What a load of waffle you have just wasted your time writing and I feel silly now because I wasted my time bothering to read it.Drivel.We know where you'd like MSs big stick.
Does Steve Ballmer come round and stick it up you?
Sounds like you are asking him to.Please sir,can I have some more?
Totally agree with you.
Poontangpie
People are still playing Warhawk, let alone the other 2.There are some games that now support 3D(Super Stardust,Wipeout,Motorstorm PR new demo)
PS3 has a web browser, unlike 360 and it does work.
PS3 features more players per game online, less lag and is more reliable(Live didn't work for 2 weeks, xmas 08)
Uncharted 2 looks better than any 360 game ever,as does Killzone 2 and
God of war3,why?Blu Ray/Cell combo. <...
Our products crap but here's a circus and sparkling dancers to distract you. They'll probably be using big red balls in their act.
Some people like content over show but most sheep blindly follow the show.American marketing is unsubtle, ugly and hamfisted.Kind of like Steve ballmer or Pigberg.
You know nothing of the history of sony motion tech,do you?
Some of us remember the Eyetoy and got to see demos that showed ball tracking tech and AI that responded to it.Years ago.You know the Milo demo with swishing water that people got excited about....old PS2 Eyetoy demo.I know because I tried it.Get some knowledge and then comment.Try some light reading and then build up the tricky stuff.
Itagaki loves himself. The funniest thing for me is how he's no longer staying 360 exclusive when it's his money on the table.
The biggest thing people are missing and where it will actually look bad against Move(apart from accuracy)is the lack of rumble. That of course won't matter now(even though it did when PS3 didn't have it).I wasn't that bothered with it on a normal pad but when you are making physical games, contact feedback becomes more important.Imagine a fighter on both systems but with Natal hits have no feedback,on Move you feel each hit.
Can you make ANY reasoned arguement why it's not Eyetoy plus on 360?They said boxing, football games coming, like the Eyetoy then.Voice recognition?like PSEye then.I don't think you played Eyetoy did you?
No one seems to be noticing one of the biggest problems with Natal. When sony had no rumble the 360 fans crowed loudly about how it is missed.I was thinking about the Move fighting game.Every hit the pads will rumble(more than Wii according to Edge). Now having played a lot of Eyetoy I know how doing this stuff with no feedback is disconnecting.A fighting game on Natal could not match this with no feeling of contact.Same with all tactile things and humans are tactile by nature. When the novelty ...
AI??People talk about how voice recognition is this big new thing.Do you realise that PS3 has it already and it's no big wow. What are you going to play.My guess. No one who is looking forward to Natal ever owned the novel but ultimately disappointing Eyetoy. You can talk about how it is better but core gameplay will be the same.It has to be based on the inputs involved.
Completely new?Seems a bit like the old Eyetoy to me.It may be much, much better but it's not a new concept.Good luck playing for 2 hrs.You really never played eyetoy, did you?
These "journalists"need to keep up.Recent figures put PS3 sales and it's attach rate just behind 360 despite 1 yr less on market in JP/US and 18 months in EU.Games journos are shit at the journalism bit.It takes little research to be well informed. The other thing to consider is the better choice recently on PS3 means greater choice,so a greater spread of sales.Greenpig says it all.The sales are spread on many different(and different types)Ps3 exclusives but 360 are lots of Halo....
I think there stuff tends to be a lot of noise and smoke but lacking in content.Just like the 360(I do own one and it has some great games but it's looking less and less essential).People are idiots and just lap up the show without looking beyond.
Too expensive,if true?Could be MS preparing to surprise people with a lower price and everyone will be pleased and say how cheap it is.
