Those graphics are meh.I know people love Halo but they lied about the progress of it's graphics.I thought it would look a lot better.
Looks like it could be a bit quicker to play though, which can only be a good thing.
Who cares? The question is,does it look good? The answer is yes.
There were demos of the coloured ball tracking in early Eyetoy demos(prelaunch PS2 Eyetoy)so you are also wrong.
There some very ignorant, uneducated people on here.
You are wrong.Explain how it's the same.
I'd like it on PS3,along with L4D and Crackdown 2.I own all 3 consoles but my reason is simple.I cancelled Live and do all my co op/multiplayer on PS3 and those 3 franchises are the only games I'd bother with online from 360.
The devs of Socom(Zipper)stated that in tests Move players beat pad players more often than not.I'm happy to hold a dildo if it is more accurate(which it is)but I'd prefer no motion tech exist at all.The pad is more fun and the Wii is the worst console I've owned.
Ned is excellent and Knoxx but Moxxis is boring.Played 1 tournament in co op and haven't touched it since.Finished Ned and most of Knoxx, with only Circle of Duty and that bastard Crawmerax left(got him to half energy tonight).Buy Ned for download, ignore Moxxi.
I cancelled my subscription to Edge today.I used to love that magazine but it all went to hell. They became 360 fanboys on reviews(I always thought reviews were the worst bit anyway)but the decline of the columns at the back and many 360 favouring previews/features and negative PS3 ones have driven me away.I want a multiformat mag.Never liked Splinter Cell but listening to PSM3 podcast today(they are good, honest guys)it was heavily hinted that it will come to PS3(like most 360 "exclusives...
So what you are saying is you rather have sales than technical quality?
Plus both PSX and Ps2 had the most and best games(bar a few high quality on other systems). This gen both PS3 and 360 have great games but PS3 is pulling ahead in the last 18 months due to huge 1st party. No one has much 3rd party advantage but PSX/PS2 killed the others on 3rd party support. So many people want to make everything black and white and life is mostly shades of grey.
Didn't Crytek themselves say that the engine runs a bit better on PS3.It did when first shown with good draw distances and that common 360 fog on middle to far distances(see Alan wake-does look very good,Halo Reach)
This may be fake but IGN and 1up in their podcasts said the same stuff post GDC.They spoke to devs personally and got feedback saying much of this is true.Natal was not working properly, devs not happy, they are struggling to get games to run at 30fps,the overhead on 360 is a whole core(that was a Garnett Lee one).I'm not saying it's true but this is what the journolists said and the Travellers Tales dev hinted at it too.
What you wrote was true ages ago, before an update but not true for most of the time.It is my only platinum trophy and great in co op,the way I played the whole game.It has plenty of flaws(voice chat is like a first gen PS3 game)but is greater than the sum of it's parts.
As for DLC bundles,I wouldn't worry,Moxxi is rubbish.Ned and Knoxx are both great fun but Knoxx especially has some annoying flaws(respawns are bad/expensive,enemy respawns are annoying, difficulty very uneven).
Are you suggesting Reach looks better?Very wrong.Too many fanboy goggles with Halo.To say anything against Halo is like slating the lord in a church, frowned upon even if it's true.
Halo Reach is not sandbox. It will have some large levels but I bet they will be smaller than Killzone2s.I take it you are another ill informed person thinking Killzone is a corridor shooter?Have you ever played it?The levels are massive and you can see for miles.Halo Reach has no draw distance, just like most good looking 360 games. The fog of war descends very early(see Alan wake too).
Alan Wake is the best looking 360 game I've seen and I really think it could be great BUT they need to stop putting 360 games against PS3.They lose every single time and it's not just in static screens. When in motion the gap becomes larger.Watching the AW trailer, the textures in the house fall well short of UC2,the animation is weak by comparison and the the lighting, though good,is no better than UC2.
First it was Splinter Cell and I couldn't see the fuss.It looks meh, apart from the tor...
Alan wake looks interesting and Crackdown 2 but they are not going to surpass what PS3 has this year.PS3 has had Heavy Rain,God of War 3 and Mag already(I didn't like Mag)and has plenty more to come.
Splinter Cell was talked up on here technically but looks a bit meh.
The successful existence of 2 closely competing consoles is good for all ,especially if you own both.Stop these nonsense flamebait articles, they do no favours for anyone and feed trolls.
I'd like to point out that claiming no none could tell is a bit off. When some 360 fanboys were making stupid "looks as good as UC2" or "textures are better than PS3 games"I called foul and thought it looked average and well short of PS3 standards.Looks like some people see what thay want to,as usual.Might be a good game but I'm no Splinter Cell fan and it just does not look good.
I thought Natal recognises hands as one point of articulation. It does not see individual fingers.
What an utter load of crap. This sounds like someone who doesn't own a PS3 and played one once in 2007.
The worst ones on the list for me are
a.the suggestion that Sony just copy....from a 360 owner.MS have tried to copy Sony since they launched a console. If Move is a Wii copy(even though I've seen tech demo using the coloured ball tech back in the early days of Eyetoy 1 then Natal is an Eyetoy copy. Both improve on what they are copying but still are very similar.
