Well said.Saves me typing more than one line.
negatives for Move he listed are pretty weak.
Don't forget the Motionplus so it will do the job they claimed it would.
I don't understand why people keep defending MS,it's idiotic. They need to know a 30 to 50 percent failure rate will not fly.Only dumbass gamers will tolerate it.In any other area of tech, the product will fail.Electronics standard fail rate is 3 to 5 percent.Consoles are a little high because they are complex and made on the cheap.
The suggestion that people slagging off any companies failings are the ones in the the wrong is one of the most moronic things I've seen.
Sony EUs pricing was announced at £34.99 anyway.I also have a PSEye and I know many others with it too(at least 5 or 6 others)so I will NEED 1 Move and will buy a nav pad and extra Move too.Bet it's cheaper when launch comes anyway. It only takes 1 of Game/Play /Shopto/Zavvi/Amazon to knock a fiver off each and they'll all be at it.
I didn't want Move for me(my son wanted it)but recent hands on(I've read.Techradar/IGN/PSM3) have changed my mind.I'll use it for ...
Hypocrite(the author of the article).Kinect is like Eyetoy and Move is like Wii.Both are better than their previous incarnations but I'd rather have accuracy and buttons.I played a lot of Eyetoy for a while(got bored) and am yet to see any Kinect that looks much better or more interesting.Move however looks like it may be superior for shooting games.
I think you gave Move a harder time.I'd rather trust Techradar/PSM3/IGN over you to be honest. You also didn't state that Move actually has 3 types of motion sensors inside that should be more accurate than motionplus, with a sensor to compensate for magnetic disruption on top of
accelerometer and gyros.I've seen the Move working well and I haven't seen the Kinect perform without bad lag.
PS3 version has much better lighting but other than that they both look a bit pants
The graphics will not effect accuracy but the maths crunching Cell chip just might and you can't ignore the better physics and lighting improve games in general but physics matter more in Motion games.
The Move is more accurate though,we're hearing this everywhere.
Your wild claims are the ones without merit.
The use of Move in "proper"games may also be what appeals to PS3 gamers.
The thing that's interesting me is that journos I respect a...
It looks fine.TM has never been cutting edge. This probably stands up better than 2 did in it's day.It was never going to look like KZ.Can't wait
Bigpappy.
There is a Kung Fu game that puts you in a side scrolling beat em up,taking on multiple bad guys. You punch, kick, jump and it will copy your moves on screen. It's PSEye only and looks more fun and gamey than rafting of "steering" a stunt car by tilting your body.Still not my kind of thing though.
And the 360 fans cry "push it deeper Steve".Kinect like Wii before it,does not do what it said on the tin.If you want another Move Preview that shows why as a gamer you should want Move try Techradar(or PSM3 or IGN).I can't believe people saying "bbbbbb but they are having fun"It's called PR,marketing on a TV promo. The defence of "this will sell to casuals or mum"is odd from Gamers. You need to take a step back and think "what would I believe if this ...
You are in trouble. You are believing the Kinect hype. You'll buy one, think it's the greatest thing ever. You'll tell everyone how good it is,showing menu and voice control as tech demos to anyone who'll listen. Then 6 months to a year down the line, you'll have turned off voice and menu gestures because a pad is quicker and easier. You'll realise you still only own the shovelware you bought with the camera and that you haven't played it since the early excitement.Only t...
They lost me at no online co op.I won't buy this for single player and most of my multi player is net based except with my 5 year old son. This game not good for him and doesn't look like a single player game for me.
That looks terrible.I feel sorry for the devs MS had working on this and looking at it would say the rumours of them not getting it working properly are probably true.Looks like another MS project rushed to market, that could do with another year in development.
It really is just an Eyetoy,so far.
I knew I was buying the Move.My 5 year old son wants it for Little Big Planet and some of the mini games. The thing is that after E3,I now believe that I might use it.Hearing PSM3 and Greg Miller on IGN talk about it,having gone from unconvinced to very positive my interest has increased 10 fold.
The people taking a chance to pop at Sony or saying he shouldn't have said this, need to climb down of their high horse and watch the interview.I'd watched it this weekend and they have taken it out of context. He says the precise nature of Move is what makes it feel good and that is what the audience care about, how good it feels to use it not the tech specs.
More ill informed, incapable of reading/watching full interviews idiots on here again.
Anyone familar with Eyetoy PS2 can tell you that these whole body camera controls are not suited to core games. When people suggest "cool"idea they are always weak gimmicks all sound similar.Throw a grenade is the most popular.meh
Nintendo had more for the core gamer did they?Ninty fans only I think.Even Zelda looked terrible.People are blind.MS had 3 good games but Sony clearly has the best 2010/2011 line up for core adult gamers. Most 3rd party good games(EA/UBI etc)were for 360/PS3 as well.
I'd ask Sony.Uncharted,Infamous,Eyepet ,Heavy Rain,MAG,LIttle Big Planet,Modnation Racers,Heavenly Sword,Eye of Judgement,Motorstorm off the top of my head.
