In the sense of working with Nintendo on the reveal, which is stated and I've been talking about, is a small collaboration to work on together because it's not a game. Like I said, I'm just hoping something good comes out of their "happy" collaboration. That's all I've been saying before this shot out of hand.
Fantastic game. Haven't played my Gameboy in a while. Hmm. Well, let's put some batteries in that now mythical device and see if I still got it.
But if you read my comment it states:
"Here's hoping something good comes from this small collaboration."
12 year old me just said, "wooooow."
A little late, but an acknowledgment is cool nevertheless. Here's hoping something good comes from this small collaboration.
Don't get me wrong I like a remaster/reboot every now and again, but suggestion or not it's starting to get ridiculous. We look back fondly because they were new experiences, so let's get inspired and make something else.
I remember reading somewhere, a rumor of course, that Nintendo's plan to lure 3rd parties back with Switch was to offer discounts on their own products after registering 3rd party titles with a mynintendo account.
Oversaturation, that's what.
Yeah, remakes/remasters ruined a lot, in part, but it's becoming reliant on them that's the problem. The industry gets nowhere if no one takes chances, which is why it's been here for 30 odd years. Greed takes over when you become mainstream, and gaming did in the mid 2000s, so now developers are less likely to gamble and more likely to make what works, like a sequel or remake. Speak with your wallet and we'll earn another golden era.
Nintendo, old friend, sometimes I think your like: http://i.giphy.com/DvuCVihf...
Definitely a great game, a lot of quality as its Rare's golden age, but to be honest I didn't play it more than Mario Kart. MK's battle mode is too hard to walk away from, but Diddy Kong Racing had the better racing mechanics. Sadly, I can't pick one over the other. Maybe that's a good thing.
Don't a lot of developers? Just sayin'.
With Rockstar being one of the big developers, and Red Dead Redemption 2 being such a high profile game right now, it's no wonder a lot of gamers want this. Hell, Red Dead on the go would be pretty cool, no doubt. If the Big N gets this title, it would certainly give a lot of us a bit more faith in their support. I'm definitely on the fence on whether it does or doesn't, but I'm going to be optimistic and say there's a small chance.
There was some fun to have, but still a bad game. At least it's not MK: Special Forces, which is definitely the worse one between the two.
Surely word of mouth and the acclaim of the first Redemption outing will give Grand Theft a run for its money. Besides, this will be Rockstar's first true Gen 8 game and I'm sure the community is geared for that.
The F5 key on a lot of keyboards is going to break tomorrow with this and the Rockstar announcement.
Great article. I wholeheartedly agree. Season passes, DLC (especially Day 1), and microtransactions, were some of my biggest concerns with Gen 7, knowing it could become a big problem if not dealt with.
I think developers need better deadlines so they can make the best game possible, then we wouldn't have to worry about patches or game-breaking bugs. Like the author points out, all the extra content has become an expectation rather than a bonus, therein lies the problem. Now I u...
Whether that rumor is true or not I'm cool with it as long as Beyond Good and Evil 2 is out there ready to play.
"President Karl Slatoff talked briefly about the Nintendo Switch, mentioning that the publisher is “happy” to have collaborated with the house of Mario and Zelda for the reveal."
Not a game, so it's a "small collaboration" for a reveal, in my opinion, which hopefully could lead to a game. That's all I'm saying.
