More like Uncharted 1 & 2, less like Uncharted 3. A bit darker and more mature would be welcome as well. Uncharted 3 had some great set pieces but the game was so unevenly paced. The entire first half of the game is filled with generic gameplay, cutscenes, melee battles & puzzles. Way too many puzzles and not enough gunplay. THe second half has all the amazing set pieces. Uncharted 2 was truly perfect so they should really try to mimic that game while making a brand new experience.
That's fine, as long as it plays like Tomb Raider Definitive Edition which was a variable 60FPS but felt smooth like butter pretty much the entire game. Another thing, will you talk shit if they do deliver the goods??
I managed to pick up Tomb Raider PS4 for $39.99 and it was an absolute steal as I didn't play it on PS3. That game really looks gorgeous and runs pretty damn smooth. The framerate may not be locked at 60fps but it feels like it quite often. I would easily have paid $60 so there you go.
This game running at 1080p/60FPS is a no-brainer, day one for me.
nice thanks
Please tell me this is 1080p/60fps or at least 60fps on PS4
I agree, though they do justify a next gen upgrade for hardcore gamers. I picked up a PS4 with infamous, tomb raider and battlefield 4 and have had more fun with tomb raider and BF4 so go figure.
Not as bad as Tomb Raider, that game generally runs 60FPS on PS4 while Xbone is 30FPS,now in my opinion that's a big deal.
Weak game lineup?? I just got a PS4 with Tomb Raider(1080p/60fps on PS4 only) Battlefield 4(900p/60fps on PS4 only) Infamous Second Son (graphically better than anything on Xbone) and COD Ghosts (1080p/60fps on PS4 only) In my opinion that's a pretty good set of games for a system in it's infancy. Xbone couldn't even run last gen tomb raider at the same high framerate as PS4, if you don't realize that's an issue you're not too sharp.
Pretty much, but that's what happens when you sell a better product than your direct competitor at a cheaper price. I just picked one up myself as in March and I couldn't be happier.
Not that it means a damn thing in the real world, but I solo'd every single boss in both Demon's Souls and Darks Souls with zero help from any game guide or website. Took me quite some time, especially in Demon's Souls as I was new to a game of that caliber of difficulty.
Trevor was easily the most interesting and could have easily been the main character. The game could have been entirely based around the world of meth cooking and drug dealing with all the meth freaks and the crazy shit they do. That would have been wild.
Highly doubt that, this isn't Call of Duty.
You can think whatever you want, You're wrong. Higher framerate is better in every scenario. Would you want to play fallout, bioshock, dark souls etc at 60FPS?? You probably would right?? Only a moron wouldn't, if TLOU isn't running 1080P/60FPS why the fuck would I buy it again??? The game was already beautiful graphically speaking on PS3. Sorry but a simple bump in resolution isn't gonna get my money again, they have to do the Tomb Raider thing and raise both resolution and f...
Totally agree, anyone that prefers a lower framerate is just dumb, there's nothing more to say. If they don't care why not play the game at 20FPS? 60FPS makes the game play and feel better in terms of controls. For example, I never played Tomb Raider until I picked up the definitive version for PS4 and do you actually think I would be ok with going back to the PS3 version with the lower framerate? Hell No! The game isn't even a locked 60FPS on PS4 and still plays smooth as hell an...
This was a next gen game that happen to come out last gen. Now it will be 1080p 60FPS which is the way it should be played. This game is a masterpiece in terms of technical achievements and gameplay/story. However, I do agree and would rather have The Order in all it's glory for the summer.
Didn't help Tomb Raider Devs. That game basically runs 1080p/60fps on PS4 while it's 30fps on the XBone.
I agree, it's hard to deny facts. At this point, there are many games that show the PS4 is much more powerful.
This game is going to look last gen on the Bone while PS4 will look much cleaner with a higher resolution and more stable framerate.
Ummm, because they can't maybe?? Anyone who knows about developing games knows that it's extremely difficult to get a console game running fully v-synced at 60fps with high resolution without frame drops and screen tearing. Most developers don't have the resources or time, it takes an amazing engine and coders. Try googling it.
