I was in the middle of GTA 5 when I became bored of the mundane missions like moving containers as a longshore man or whatever the fuck that garbage mission was and popped in the Last of Us. Totally sucked me in and it was hard to go back and complete GTA 5 after playing through The Last of Us. When GTA is good it's good but there are a ton of boring filler missions and if you disagree your either blinded by fanboy goggles or don't know a good mission from a boring mission like doing ...

So? They are both great games and deserve it. 2015 is right around the corner and we will get plenty of next gen experiences between Fall/Winter 2014-2015 and beyond.
It looks like it was a PS4 only game. I'm jealous of those who played it for the very first time in 1080p at 60FPS. It's like a completely different game in my opinion, glad I only completed it once on PS3 so I can do multiple playthroughs on PS4.
This woman is brilliant. I recently popped Tomb Raider in for PS4 which looks really good but The Last of Us Remastered actually looks like a PS4 exclusive running at full blown 1080p and 60FPS. Those graphics are better than anything else I have seen on the XBone or PS4. It's truly a technical achievement and I can't wait to see and play future PS4 games.

If this was out now, I would own an Xbone, I love this franchise. However, we know that it won't be until probably fall/winter of 2016 until this game releases so it would have been nice to have People Can Fly(they did a nice job with Gears of War: Judgement IMO) do a remaster of the original Gears running at 1080p 60FPS just like SONY/ND did with Last of Us. Resident Evil on Gamecube blew me away when I was younger. A lot of work went into remaking that game, perfect example in my opinion.
I got Tomb Raider for PS4 in March on sale from Best Buy for $39.99 and that was quite a steal. I had never played it on the 360 or PS3 so my first experience with the game was on PS4 with variable 60FPS gameplay in 1080p, well worth the wait.
It's gonna be a big gamble for them building their next console to compete with PS4 and XBONE. If they fail, the company will be in big time trouble. I wouldn't worry until then, however, they better have some good ideas for a new console and launch with amazing games. If they don't, they're done. How will their next console compete against PS4 when SONY releases all those amazing games that we will see well before Nintendo's next version of the Wii.
LOL I went to pre order Last of Us Remastered the other day and some girl who was clearly new asked me if I wanted to reserve "Call of Duty: Ghosts," hahaha. I politely told her no thanks but damn she was stupid.
Well, it plays incredibly smooth compared to PS3. The real achievement here was the 60FPS. Naught Dog are so talented it's scary, can't wait to see what they do with Uncharted 4! Xbone only gamers keep hating, you will never see games of this technical quality.

I bought it day one, walked into Best Buy and was lucky enough to snatch up the last copy that was on the floor. It was only 3pm launch day, based on that I knew this game was going to sell a lot of copies. Plenty of Nintendo and XBOX only gamers who saw the potential of PS4 and switched over, I'm jealous of them playing this for the first time ever on PS4 as it looks and plays simply amazing.
