It would make me buy a PS4
I never got around to playing Last of Us at launch, picked up GTA 5 and Last of Us together when GTA 5 came out in what I believe was September. I wasn't enjoying GTA 5 as much as I had hoped, popped in The Last of Us and was completely sucked in. The game just got better as it went along. The graphics and brutal gameplay were very well done, as was the story.

You're definitely right in terms of scale being DR3 is open world. However, Last of Us is a gorgeous game running with NO SCREEN TEARING and an almost constant 30FPS framerate unlike Ryse which is a comparable game that is full of screen tearing. If a game isn't v-synced with a stable framerate, it has no right to boast about it's graphical fidelity, there are technical deficiencies that allow the POS to even run on console. HaHa, So glad I didn't buy into the hype. I was smart enough to recognize there was no reason to buy a next gen console yet, the PS3 and 360 currently have a much better library. I will be playing Dark Souls 2 from March of 2014 probably until around September Non Stop, there should be a nice amount of next gen titles to choose from by then. It will finally make sense to upgrade to PS4, there aren't any games that really make me feel the need to buy it yet. I usually don't buy Collector's Editions, they are generally overpriced crap. The only two CE's I own are Demon's Souls Deluxe Edition and Black Phantom Edition, both still sealed in very good condition. I did purchase the Dark Souls CE only to find the tin case damaged and the art book fell apart, I really hope this edition is much better quality considering the asking price, it's considerably higher than the original Dark Souls CE.
I gotta pre order my collectors edition ASAP, this game deserves it.
Single player wasn't as good as GTA 4 or Red Dead in my opinion, lots of useless filler missions and not many interesting side missions. Overall, aside from a few brilliant missions, the game felt like it lacked good old fun action. Playing as three characters simultaneously was fun though, I will admit that.
I'm a Sony fan, but everyone knows MOVE was a flop. A good quality game that's well designed and played with a normal controller is much better than flailing around with half assed controls and a half baked game that tried to make motion controls fun, which generally aren't. It's fun once in a blue moon maybe....maybe.
Please announce an Exclusive sequel to Demon's Souls for PS4. The original creative director moved onto an unannounced project while handing over the development reigns to Dark Souls 2, he has to be working on that sequel, I can feel it. Please make it happen SONY, I have faith.
Yes sir, Next Gen doesn't even start for me until I complete Dark Souls 2 many many times on my PS3. I won't even buy a PS4 until there are games like The Order, Infamous Second Son and Uncharted 4 available, nothing out now really appeals to me and makes me want to drop $500 on a new console and games.

At least it's v-synced with no screen tear unlike Skyrim, that game was a screen tear fest on the 360.
