What a troll. Anyway miiverse is about having a positive atmosphere. Negative comments will just start arguments which will poison the community.
Mine froze 3 times. But then again it was during Assassin's Creed and that has happened to me several times on previous outings on my 360 and PS3.
Oh, it's kinda weird how you can't use the Wii remote to shut off the Wii U in Wii mode. It powers down, but the Wii U controller turns on. So I have to go back to the Wii U menu then turn it off.
The problem is I'm a completionist. Asassin's Creed 1 is where I decided to give up on side quests too. However, the side quests are a lot more manageable in ACIII. That said, I'm an avid movie lover and it's hard for me to divide time between film and games. The Wii U is a good solution to my dilemma.
I grew up as a PC gamer primarily.... so when I heard about microsoft charging gamers with the original Xbox I laughed, then they continued to charge, and they continued to do so with the 360, and the xbots just ate it up! I couldn't believe it. No matter what defense xbox players give to back up Microsoft, the fact is there are similar experiences everywhere else for free. Mainly all PC platforms and PSN.

I love ACIII on Wii U too. The fact that I can watch TV while doing side missions is great. I imagine I'll be completing a lot more games in a timely manner now.
I'm really quite surprised by miiverse. I totally expected to ignore it.... but it seems to be a must have feature!
I really hope it does, because I guarantee the 3DS is only as cool as it is because of competition from Sony. The same goes for the Vita.

Considering how much more powerful the PS3 is than PS2... probably about 20X, then why don't all last gen ports run at 1080p or 1080p in 3D at 60fps, or even close to that????

As a console it's next gen. Consoles are just 2 gens behind PC. 360 and PS3 are directx 9.0c equivalent. Wii U is Directx 11 equivalent. That makes it a next gen console.
That's pretty dumb. It's an amazing system that will guaranteed have amazing exclusives. That and Miiverse(something I originally scoffed at and thought to ignore) turned out to be an amazing feature.
Actually it's been said that the Wii U has a pretty good amount of edram, just the exact amount is unknown. By the way, it's really quite amazing how developers have been able to leverage the Cell processor (specifically it's SPUs) to make up for its' zero edram and excruciatingly old GPU. That leverage was truly key in making PS3 exclusive titles look so amazing as to rival the best of PC games. ...seems like the Wii U has the opposite problem.
You make many valid comments, but the thing is the Wii U is really something you have to play for a while, to experience in order to understand. The second screen really is quite helpful and takes a lot of the hassle out of switching between menus and maps and such. And.... really... can't see any improvement to control? That's just a load of bollocks.

A PS3 is 300 right now and it's 6 years old.
I don't get the hate for Metroid Other M. I know where people are coming from, but the fact is that there was a very realistic portrayal of a human being with post traumatic stress, and I think her ability to fight in spite of that is what makes her even more bad ass.
